Da Gelsomina in Anacapri is one of the best restaurants in Capri. Located off the beaten path and on a farm. The family grows herbs and vegetables and serves their own natural wines. Homemade pastas that melt in your mouth. The brick chicken is fantastic. Grilled mozzarella and wonderfully prepared seafood dishes. Call them and they will come pick you up in the Anacapri centre and drive you out to the restaurant - Phone +39 0818371499. As well the restaurant is located very close to the cliff where you can walk after lunch and see the light house or water.

Da Gelsomina is the best restaurant in Capri. Off the beaten path but worth the trip. Go to Anacapri and the restaurant will come and pick you up. Food is fresh and local. Home made pastas and fresh seafood. Brick chicken is one of their best. Grilled mozzarella as a starter is nice and flavorful. Try the grilled vegetables as well. You'll want to go back.
Villa Verde is a nice casual place with traditional Italian dishes - relaxed and not to formal with good food and an extensive wine list. The ribeye steak had great flavor.
Aurora is a top restaurant -more formal. The pizza is great if you like it very thin. Stuffed zucchini flowers were amazing. Rice stuffed torte was tremendous as well.

Da Gelsomina is the best restaurant in Capri!! The restaurant is committed to serving great food and uses their farm to grow vegetables, wine and herbs. Go to Anacapri and they will come and pick you up and drive to their restaurant. Now the food - the grilled mozzarella is a tasty starter. The brick chicken is fantastic. The homemade pastas will make you come back. We loved the grilled mixed seafood as well. Location is great as you can walk 10 meters to the cliff which overlooks the lighthouse. We also found out you can rent a villa overlooking the farm and out of the busy town.
