I still don't see it in my cookbook. I read through all of the desserts, even looking to see if there was a variation on one that included pumpkin. The Junior League of Denver has published five cookbooks. Are you sure it wasn't in Creme de Colorado? I don't have that one, unfortunately. |

Thanks so much! I was searching for that, but could only find the article from 2009. |

I have that cookbook, but my version (purchased in the early 1990s in Denver) doesn't have that particular recipe. Mine has a 1978 copyright. I'm wondering if there is a later version? Sorry I can't help. |

Looking for recipe from the Denver junior league cookbook: Colorado Cache I bought that cookbook when we lived in Evergreen, CO in the early 90s and it's still one of my favorite cookbooks. However, my version does not have a Layered Pumpkin Pie recipe. I see Pumpkin Flan. My book has a 1978 Copyright. Perhaps there is a later edition with your recipe? So sorry I can't help. |

enbell... thank you again. Just found out through your links that Redfeather is closed, but Bittercreek is open AND they are taking reservations for Thanksgiving Day only. It's perfect. Thank you so much! |

Thanks, enbell! Was hoping for something in between Golden Corral and Cottonwood. Hoping to keep it more around $15 to $20 per person. Fork is closed that day; I already checked with them. I know that The Ram was open a couple of years ago. Not sure if they are this year or not. It's not my absolute favorite place in Boise, but the price range is right. So far, most of the places that are open are $30 per person. Our youngest is 13, so no more ordering off the Kids' Menu. Cottonwood has a limited menu on Thanksgiving and the least expensive entree is $26. Some of us will want a traditional Thanksgiving meal, although that's not an absolute requirement. Most of my family would prefer a burger. Would love it if Brick Oven Bistro was open that day. :) I know it's their last week in business. |

Thanks. With a possibility of 8 of us (we are adopting all of my son's friends who don't have family nearby), we were hoping to find something a little less expensive. Although the Cottonwood Grille sounds wonderful. |

We will be spending Thanksgiving in Boise and are looking for a good place for a family of 6-8 to have dinner. Thanks for any suggestions. |

Breakfast between BWI and Denton, MD? Jimmy's sounds great, but nearly two hours from the airport. I'm hoping for something closer to BWI or Annapolis and no further than Denton. |

Breakfast between BWI and Denton, MD? I am picking up family from BWI in a couple of weeks at 7am. We are looking for a local place to have a good breakfast between the airport and Denton as we head to the shore. |

groceries and seafood in Fenwick, Bethany, Ocean City We stay in Bethany Beach and the best grocery options there are Hocker's (we go to the old one in Ocean View) and Harris Teeter; they are very close to each other. BEST fresh seafood by far is at Tom & Terry's. You can hit all of those plus a liquor store in one short trip. The local farmer's markets are fantastic. There is one almost every day of the week in one of the beach communities. |

I have to agree. We have been going to Bethany Beach for 25+ years. We drive up to Dewey for Mama Maria's. |

Need help finding place for dinner between Beaverton and Salem! Thanks so much. Oswego Grill sounds like a good menu for us. We have two not-very-adventurous eaters. And they have a location in Wilsonville, which means our friends won't have to drive as far. |

Need help finding place for dinner between Beaverton and Salem! Thank you for any suggestions! I will be traveling to the Portland area in a couple of weeks and plan to meet friends for dinner. We are staying in Beaverton; they live in the Salem area. We both have cars. Last time I was there, we had dinner in Bridgeport Village. We can do that again, but were hoping to find a local restaurant. Nothing too expensive and with a varied menu, if possible. |
