La Lengua Chronicles - My Project for 2012 [San Francisco]

It re-opened a few months ago. Although still offering a couple versions of steak, it's no longer a 'steak house'.
I haven't tried the steak yet.

While certainly unremarkable right now (I have been twice since the re-opening), it isn't THAT bad.
I have never been to Coronitas.

Al's Cafe Good Food Closed

It's open again, new owners.
Same menu, same decor, actually as far as I remember, nothing different.
But I haven't been there enough over the years to say if its better or worse than it used to be. What I will say is that its a solid if unspectacular meal, that i wouldn't recommend going out of your way for, but if you are in the area, go for it.

Yes, thats it!
He serves a version that looks similar to the last picture of your link, as well as a version topped with honey & powdered sugar.

I wish I knew what the names of these things are, but on (at least) Monday nights at about 9pm on the back patio of the El Rio there is a dude that make these dough things that he then puts toppings on. He has two versions, one sweet, one savory (no meat).
Because I have already eaten by the time I get there, I personally haven't had any, but based on other comments, they seem to be a hit. And free!

GFC does, but Emmy's Mission facing wall is blocked by the bar.
