does anyone know or have a good idea what exactly is in rutts hutt relish,since i was a kid everyone raves about it,i never tried it due to there is so many foods i just wont eat,when i go i always go for the rippers with their mustard..they always hit the spot,great dogs!

I Agree drive alittle bit more,pay a couple bucks more,because that's what it's gonna cost you to buy from your favorite pizzerias,s*cks prices are so high in these tough times,luckily in northern bergen county my family & i actually have like 5 or 6 favorite places,where we all agree the food is great,the others around are sometimes cheaper with specials to lure you in,others dont bother and their pizza isnt even close to our favorites in taste,so we usually spend the extra 2 bucks and enjoy our pies.

when my family had miracle whip it didnt smell nearly as bad as that foul smelling helmanns,remember as a child my family forced me to eat both,both came up before going into my stomach,but helmanns i thought was way worse in smell and taste,grossed me out watching some family members take spoonfuls of both,i couldn't stand the sight or smell had to go out of the house to breathe.

Dont know area you're from but in bergen county there are a few pizza places that have "specials" 2/16.00 large plain pies,they're not the absolute best here in the area but very good,And for the best places a lg round pie is 11-13.00 per,i Remember 2.50 for a large plain,4.00 for the sicilian pies.the price equals most an hour of work someplace to buy that pizza.Everything is so expensive now...........

Yes You are Right it Truly is a Spanish Restaurant,I call it a Steakhouse due to the fact that is Why I go there,alot of people go there for the seafood as well,I'm Happy to stick to my steaks,Dont get to go there too often due to it's an expensive night out,but when i do,i'm a very Happy customer thats for sure.

Dont know which area you're from but i was shocked to see the cheeburger cheeburger on rt 17 in east rutherford was closed,and was told yesterday the cheeburger cheeburger on rt 46 e in little falls also closed up,all now are south jersey area...Agree their burgers are great.

If you have not tried El Cid on paramus rd in paramus i suggest that you give them a try,my favorite place,i always go for the filet mignon or prime rib,huge portions,great service,meal w/1 drink 35-40.00 well worth it imo....also enjoy the outback steakhouse chain on rt 17 in rochelle park,they have an "outback special" running about 15.00 pp

Just went to Fuddruckers in wayne nj yesterday,this after trying to go to cheeburger cheeburger in east rutherford on rt 17,they are now closed,but they have another location on rt 46e in little falls [does anyone know if they are still there,has anyone been there?? i find these 2 burgers very enjoyable and filling,fresh made,also the homemade fries.BBP AND FIVE GUYS are also good and in the area in northern bergen county.

Never been to this place,But have only found their footlong beef/pork blend hot dogs once in shop rite supermarket and would like to visit the actual Restaurant.Has anyone been to this place recently? Doesnt seem they have many locations in jersey.

Augh in my 50's now,goes fast,my family loved mayo but 1 believe my sister liked it on burgers in the 70's and still does,both miracle whip and hellmans they always had in the fridge.i stayed with ketchup and pickles on my burger.

Beet Salad,[beets-raw onion,oil+vinegar],over 40 years and still dont miss it,Liver & onions,creamed corn,deep fried spam lol,oh there was so much....

Not sure if they sell this stuff still,but in the deli in the 1960's+1970's they sold boiled ham,i dont see it anymore in delis,i found it horroble and i love ham,this was wet,slimy and i didnt care for the taste,i opted for the beeter types of deli ham,even the cheaper less bought hormel chopped ham,also my mom would make baked macaroni,mullers wide egg noodles,with layers of deli american cheese and ragu spaghetti sauce,to this day,egg noodles,and ragu sauce has Not crossed these lips,I Hated it,Not a Ragu fan...

Many Many Years ago with a strict father,i raised my kids differently due to him,they didnt like something we would prepare something we had on hand and he liked for the meal,only took a few extra minutes,No big deal,and there were no problems in the home.

I took offense by reading this is a PHOBIA AS A CHILD,I Do not have a phobia from my childhood,simply i do not like the taste,smell,texture,or sight of the stuff.... again that easy,everyone is different.Too many Experts,i dont say i am,everyone has their likes & dislikes as many people dont like bologna,celery,mustard,ketchup,olives,etc..

Think about it,there are sooo many great things to eat,but no hey look that egg is non fertile how bout we cook it up and eat it?!?!,How Gross,the texture is both gooey and rubbery,depending which way ,the FOUL ODOR OF SULFER,the sight of that raw yolk "starring at you" lol,remember as a very young child i vomited both by the smell,and taste,i took my beatings rather than being forced to eat something i just could not do,everyones tastes is different,the thought of it,repulses me to no end,hard boiled ,and egg salad especially,you smell out an Entire Room with that foul stuff.

There still are great places in wallington [adams, on wallington ave],colonial mkt [walllington ave?],know passaic has jasoniks?? and a few others,but i would say adams still is the best option for polish kielbasi.

I dont have a costco membership,But have had their Kirkland 1/4 # frozen hamburger patties,which i think are Great on the Grill,Can i Get a 1-day pass to buy from costco,and will there an extra charge from what i would pay if i were a member there??Last time i had their burgers for a 18 pk i think it ran 18. per pkg....

I Dont agree with that put out whats to eat,if they wont eat it they go hungry,i grew up like that,sent to bed after being belted in the face as a child,not everyone has the same tastes for foods,it scarred me as a child,i raised 4 kids and never put that horror into them,only takes a minute to cook up something for them,if you love them whats the problem.say you despise liver and someone forces you to eat that,how would you feel now.
