Current dining suggestions for two food and wine geeks

Hello,

We're very excited for an upcoming trip to Portland and enjoying the tremendous culinary options your city has to offer. We'll be staying downtown, but have no qualms grabbing a cab for good meal. We'll be in the city four days and we'll likely be enjoying 5-7 spots a day. The last time we were in Portland, a few years back, we were privileged to enjoy many incredible meals. Favorites included: Le Pigeon, Andina, Simpatica Dining Hall, Bijou, and Navarre. While we appreciate the art of the craft cocktail, this trip is decidedly more about the thoughtfully curated wine list. The front runners on our list thus far:
• Luce
• Little bird
• Tabla
• Metrovino
• Olympic Provisions (North or South?)
• Gruner
• Bar Avignon (Wine and snacks)
• Laurelhurst Market
• Tasty and Sons (Brunch?)
• Nostrana
• St. Jack
• DOC (New chef... Thoughts?)
• Clark Lewis
• Ken’s Artisan Pizza
• Broder (Brunch)
• Interurban
• Pok Pok
• The Woodsman Tavern
• Oven and Shaker
• Wildwood
• Paley’s Place
• For Coffee: Barista, Ristretto, Coava

Immediate challenges are breakfast/brunch (as we’re in the city Tues-Fri) and lunch (most seem to be dinner focused). Some of these are standbys (are they still relevant or living in the glory days?), and some more recent additions (are they holding their own?). I’m sure there are some rock stars we completely missed.

Thanks for your help, and looking forward to your feedback.
