Having been to Pamplemousse a dozen or so times. It will not work for what you are looking for.

Which 99 Ranch Market did you go to? They always have them in Rowland Heights. They are frozen though.

Caviar at the Kids' Table

We have always let our two boys eat grown up foods. They have to try it at least once before they can proclaim that they do not like it or it is "yuckie". My oldest (6 years old) love eat all kinds of foods, but when it comes down to it he also loves pizza and chicken fingers. Children are just little adults whose palates will adjust as they get older just like us adults, but in the mean time they should be exposed to all types of food. There is nothing wrong in my humble opinion to serve my son a piece of frois gras or caviar or chicken fingers. They like the rest of us grown ups eat what we feel like eating.

What is the difference of a 40 year old man wasting a nice piece of fish or meat or a 6 year old doing the same? I would much rather have a child who know what he/she likes to eat then have to say oh you can't eat this and that to them.

Just one parents' opinion. BTW my child loves caviar, frois gras, lobster etc....and hates brussel sprouts ...just like daddy.

New at King Taco -- molleja and suadero?

I stand corrected.

New at King Taco -- molleja and suadero?

the mollejas were definately not gizzards. If they were then I would be very surprised that anyone can cook gizzrds that tender. Also there was a tiny layer of breading on the mollejas that I had a King Taco. They were most likely sweatbread. Definately tasetd like them.

BTW it is my favorite meat at King Taco.

I have to disagree totally about restaurant 162. The food is horrible, but the service and view are good. BUT the food is aweful.

Are AOC and Providence child-friendly?

I respectfully disagree with kids not liking Providence. My 4 and 6 years have been to Providence about 6 different times. They always like the food. We were in the Chef's table for 4 of those time and that really was cool for them. Plus the kitchen will make anything for the kids. One of my kids is on a gluten-free and caisen-free diet.

Korean BBQ in Orange County

Agreed That Rowland Heights is not in the same area.

Try Surah on Beach and Malvern.

For Rowland Heights, try Ong Ja Gib on Colima and Nogales.

Korean BBQ in Orange County

I respectfully disagree with that statement. there are lots of good Korean BBQ places in the Rowland Heights area.

Which places have you been to that helped you come up with your opinion.

Korean BBQ in Orange County

The normal BBQ stuff is all good. If you are into roe, they have a Hwe Boop (Sp??) that is really good. Basically rice with various roes and seaweeds.

Anniversary dinner in or around Pasadena

The food in the Dining Room was pretty good when we there just there for Memorial weekend. But as IPSE stated, Chef Strong has moved on (Montage) and it is just not the same without him.
