New at King Taco -- molleja and suadero? I stand corrected. |
New at King Taco -- molleja and suadero? the mollejas were definately not gizzards. If they were then I would be very surprised that anyone can cook gizzrds that tender. Also there was a tiny layer of breading on the mollejas that I had a King Taco. They were most likely sweatbread. Definately tasetd like them. BTW it is my favorite meat at King Taco. |

Laguna Niguel - restaurant recs? I have to disagree totally about restaurant 162. The food is horrible, but the service and view are good. BUT the food is aweful. |

Are AOC and Providence child-friendly? I respectfully disagree with kids not liking Providence. My 4 and 6 years have been to Providence about 6 different times. They always like the food. We were in the Chef's table for 4 of those time and that really was cool for them. Plus the kitchen will make anything for the kids. One of my kids is on a gluten-free and caisen-free diet. |

Agreed That Rowland Heights is not in the same area. Try Surah on Beach and Malvern. For Rowland Heights, try Ong Ja Gib on Colima and Nogales. |
I respectfully disagree with that statement. there are lots of good Korean BBQ places in the Rowland Heights area. Which places have you been to that helped you come up with your opinion. |
The normal BBQ stuff is all good. If you are into roe, they have a Hwe Boop (Sp??) that is really good. Basically rice with various roes and seaweeds. |

Anniversary dinner in or around Pasadena The food in the Dining Room was pretty good when we there just there for Memorial weekend. But as IPSE stated, Chef Strong has moved on (Montage) and it is just not the same without him. |

Mei Long Village or Lake Spring for "Pork Pump"? Not pig's feet. What they do is shred the meat and make a terrine with it (kind of). The name escapes me, but we have it all the time. |
