Creperies in Quebec City?

Is there a pannekoeken place in QC or Toronto? I had some in Vancouver 10 years ago and can't stop thinking about them!!

Wine Bar or Entertainment nr Old Quebec

We will be in Quebec from the 15th to 18th of October so will, sadly, miss the Jazz Festival. Will try one of the other lounges though. Thanks!

You HAVE to go to Ravine. It is a new winery in an old 1800's farmhouse. The '07 Merlot is outstanding. There is a restaurant there as well - "Olson Foods" which is more of a bakery/gourmet food shop but has an awesome chalkboard menu. This is Michael and Anna Olson's new spot and when we stopped by they were both there cooking and schmoozing. Do yourself a favour and have lunch here or pizza at sunset on a Friday night (bring a sweater these days.)

Wine Bar or Entertainment nr Old Quebec

Does anyone know of a great place to chill out with a glass of wine one night and listen to great live music in Old Quebec?

Toast or Graffiti

We are having a "date" weekend in Quebec City without the baby and want to have one nice dinner and a few other reasonable meals. I have read tonnes of reviews about Toast and it seems highly recommended. Does anyone know anything about Graffiti though? (We'll be staying in Old Quebec.)

Tourtiere with poudre douce

A few years ago I found a recipe for tourtiere that was unbelievable. Before I made it I searched high and low for poudre douce - a spice mixture of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg? - that was in the recipe. I finally found the poudre douce. Now I can't find the recipe. I remember it had a few different kinds of ground meat, it had a couple of potatoes in it and it called for poudre douce. Does anyone have a similar recipe?

Black Walnut Manor is an unbelieveable boutique B&B. Must stay there. And you can't miss Tawse winery for sure. Brand new, high end wines, gravity fed tanks to "crush" the grapes is very cool.

Chocolate dessert recipes for healthy living

I think that's an excellent idea. Perhaps even some mousse (tofu like laurendlewis suggested), a truffle?? made with natural chocolate, 70% and some nuts or fruit. A trio of sorts. Great!

yes, but for a restaurant, I need to go one step further than pudding but essentially you're on the right track. Our menu has 3 parts - a vegan section, a raw section and a spa section. We want to take a nod towards the alkaline diet but make it as friendly as possibly to our guests.

exactly what I am trying to accomplish here - not just low-fat but using holistic ingredients, yogurt, honey, nuts, chocolate! Thank you

Chocolate dessert recipes for healthy living

Healthy, as in holistic as opposed to low calorie. Natural and good ingredients but trying to be reasonably low-calorie.

Chocolate dessert recipes for healthy living

I have been debating with the chef about adding desserts such as chocolate desserts to a "wellness/spa menu" at a restaurant. Chef says chocolate is not healthy so the dessert menu includes a selection of grilled fruit, yogurt drizzles and granola toppings. Can someone please recommend some spa friendly desserts that might be a little more decadent but still healthy?
