London broil ragu?

I want to make a tomato sauce with beef for gnocchi. I have a nice cut of London broil in the fridge. Can I use it? Any tips on how? Braise in tomato sauce? Make sauce and meat separately? Or should London broil not be used for that?

Hi,

I want to make a roast. Here's what I have on hand-
Brown sugar bourbon apple cider vinegar marinade
Red wine
Garlic
Cherrywood smoked bacon
Caramelized onion balsamic spread

Any ideas? I really want to use up some/all of this stuff.
I plan to roast in the oven not in the crock pot. I'd like a little bit of a sear/crust.

Three Recipes: Crab Imperial, Crabcakes, Smith Island Cake?

This may be way off base, but if baking hasn't been your thing lately, you know they ship their cakes, right? Smith Island cakes are very distinct, I'm not sure recreating them would offer the same experience. Of course crab cakes and imperial are a little more open to interpretation and change ever so slightly among maryland residents. Just an idea!

Also, crab imperial is also very yummy stuffed in shrimp or fish. In Maryland, it's often rockfish! :)

Pretty sure its white truffle oil. In the past I've really enjoyed it in potato salad and aioli on burgers, but I've never cooked with it myself.

Ive got a lb of frozen pepper bacon.....

I considered making candied bacon. Do you think the pepper would ruin it? Also gonna toss some in with my green beans! I do like the chowder idea!
