San Antonio for 2 days- need help narrowing down options!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking we'll probably skip Mi Tierra and do Rosario's or Acenar depending on how the trip goes. Thanks!

San Antonio for 2 days- need help narrowing down options!

I'll be in SA for 2 full days and need help narrowing down some options. I've only been once (about 10 years ago) and my boyfriend has never been.

Dinner--of the below, which one is the best for a FUN dinner? (we want Tex Mex so I'm trying to choose from these)
1) Rosario's
2) Acenar
3) Mi Tierra
4) Tito's--I don't know about if this kind of atmosphere is what we're looking for, but thought I'd throw it out there

Breakfast/brunch: which is better of the two --Madhatters or Guenther House? We may have time for both but just in case we don't.

I've also seen some stuff on Mary Ann's Pig Stand. Any thoughts on that?

How is the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings? We will probably stop by. Any must eats there?

Thanks for all your help!

Santa Monica for 2 days/1 night

Thank you for all of the great suggestions! We may do drinks at the Penthouse at the Huntley and dinner at Milo and Olive, and leave the lunches open to the other suggestions we've gotten. Gjelina one day if I can get reservations. Thank you guys!

2 Days/2 Nights in San Francisco in early March

Thanks so much for all of the great suggestions! Really looking forward to the trip now. Plouf may have to be a must try.

Santa Monica for 2 days/1 night

My boyfriend and I will be in LA for almost 2 full days and 1 night. We're thinking about staying in the Santa Monica area but will (most likely) have a car. Any recommendations for good brunch/lunch/dinner spots in the area?

Recommendations so far:

Geoffrie's
The Huntley Hotel
Gjelina in Venice

Any ideas are much appreciated!

2 Days/2 Nights in San Francisco in early March

One night maybe we'd like to do a nicer dinner, the next night something more local. Probably $20/entree max. Totally open to all breakfast and lunch ideas...definitely want to have some seafood while we're there. Also up for brunch

2 Days/2 Nights in San Francisco in early March

My boyfriend and I are coming to San Francisco for a few days in early March. We have 2 full days and 2 nights and are staying at least two of the nights at the Mark Hopkins. We won't have a car and this is my first time in SF (boyfriend hasn't been in 10+ years).

We are looking for breakfast/brunch/lunch/dinner recommendations for both days. We're on a budget, the most we'd want to spend on dinner is $20 per person max. We love anything with a good atmosphere, fun crowd, attentive and friendly staff. Love local, hole in the wall places as well. Since we live in Texas, we're staying away from Mexican, and the boyfriend isn't big on Asian. One must have for me is some good mussels (TX has NONE.)

On our short list so far:

Bar Agricole for drinks/apps
Gamine for drinks/apps
Barbacco
Outerlands Cafe
Balboa Cafe
Pier 23 Cafe
Nob Hill Cafe
The Beach Chalet

Any feedback you all have on the above would be great, and also any new suggestions!
