Does anyone have recommendations/thoughts/preferences between Eola and Fiola. Both have been on my to try list, and I need to pick one! I know the types of food are different, but that doesnt matter much to me. Thanks! |

Wow. What a terrific reply. Thanks so much. Alot to process. From what you say I may try Booker and Dax (any rec's there) or death and co/PDT. While I am open to pretty much any cocktail, when it comes to a certain spirit I am a bourbon man. Recs on that front? |

Hi all...looking for a good Cocktail Bar (coming from DC looking for places similar to Columbia Room, PS7 and PX) in the LES. Any input? Also, any spots with high-quality craft beer selections (preferably with things harder to find) Thanks a lot! |

Thanks for the input so far. Unfortunately it needs to be in DC so WK and Volt are out. I have done some more research and narrowed it down..... What are your thoughts on Elisir vs. Corduroy vs. Eola? |

I should have added it to the list. I have been. And I agree, it is terrific. Grabbing a piece of fish from the market is great, albeit expensive, treat |

Girlfriend and I are headed up to Baltimore from DC for the weekend next weekend. Will get in late afternoon/early evening on Friday. Leave mid/late afternoon on Sunday. Only reservation at the moment is a late dinner on Saturday at Cinghiale. I'd appreciate your thoughts on (1) places for dinner on Friday (2) places for drinks/etc either night (3) lunches on sat and/or sunday (4) and other necessary culinary adventures. I have been to Baltimore several times so have a pretty good knowledge of the city. We are staying in Mount Vernon (so will surely be hitting Brewers Art for the bar!) and will need to rely on public transit to get around. Price point should be low-ish since will be shelling out a decent amount for Cinghiale. |

Hello all...I am trying to decide where to pick for a birthday dinner in the next couple of weeks. i have been in DC for about two years and tried alot of great places here (Palena, Birch and Barley, Komi, Vidalia, Eve, Marcels, Rasika,Ripple, Proof, Bibiana, Vermillion, Little Serow, Graffiato, Zaytinya, Central, Dino) but am looking for something new this time. The setting need not be fancy, I am really in it for the food. Tasting menus are nice (because of the variety) but not necessary. Price is not a huge concern...but probably not to the Eve Tasting Room or Komi level. Thanks in advance for any suggestions |
