They have a set menu and a daily special menu. Our experience is the set menu items are generally better thought out and successful that the specials. That said occasionally the specials are great and worth the chance. Good wine list too. There can be up to FIVE different menus on your table at a time so be prepared.

The Junction = YUM (Asheville)

Seems the concept has changed since they opened ... Bigger plates, more food ... Shrimp n grits is very good, 4 shrimp for $17, expensive for small portion. The chef is very good and packs a lot of flavor into dishes.

Stone Bowl Korean, Asheville

We have been twice. The kimchi soup is fantastic, steamed dumplings bland, and stone bowl a huge portion of rice. Salted mackerel also very interesting, service is shaky with lots of food going to wrong tables and incomplete courses sent ...a ie half of table waiting for their dishes.
We like it and will return.

danna my husband I I think the junction has really gotten better lately. We also like white duck a lot and have never had any issues with their food. what exactly do you think so bad?
