Omakase recommendation: Yasuda, Brushstroke or Azabu?

15 East was amazing! Try the Santa Barbara Uni and the Seaweed flight. The service was on point. They deserved their Michelin star.

Michelin Stars 2013

Not surprised about Marc Forgione. I had the most disappointing brunch there recently. How could they screw up French Toast, esp since they served it half-an-hour after my husband received his "Sandwich" with burnt pancakes!

Jungsik should get 3 Michelin stars

I went to Jungsik for my birthday, and it was amazing! Here are photos of my desserts.

I'm leaving NYC forever - need a goodbye list

You must try Sripraphai - the best Thai food!
Adding Ippudo NY for ramen
Adding Tamarind 22 for Indian

good chinese restaurant in Chinatown

Amazing 66 changed their chef earlier this year, and it is not as good as it used to be. I would recommend Ping Seafood on 22 Mott St instead - http://pingsnyc.com

What to Order at Marc Forgione?

I would love to try Marc Forgione for dinner, but don't ever go for Sunday brunch. Last weekend I went at 1:30pm, and they were already sold out of their Bacon Egg & Cheese Popover. My husband then ordered The Sandwich, and the bottom pancake was burnt to a crisp. My brioche french toast came after he had finished (as the waitress explained that there was a mixup in the kitchen). Then a manager, I presume, brings my plate and says "It's on the house." I had to flag down a busboy for maple syrup. The toast was so dry. I really should've gone to Landmarc Tribeca for their pain perdu.

Weekend in Manhattan

Jean-Georges' Perry St is great for a romantic dinner. Skip the dessert though.

Is "Diner's Deck" a good deal?

Buttermilk Channel is good for brunch; Flatbush Farm is terrible for brunch. Both our frittatas were burnt!

4 days in NYC to celebrate 40th birthday...need restaurant recommendations

Sarabeth's in Tribeca is bright and spacious. Clinton St Baking Co is a bit of a squeeze. The pain perdu at Landmarc in Tribeca is great!

Where should I eat on my 30th birthday?

If you like WD-50 and Korean food (besides BBQ), then try Jung Sik. I just had my birthday dinner there.

30th Birthday - EMP, Annisa, Acme, Dutch (or something else?)

I would rate Annisa similar to a WD-50 experience. I had gone to Annisa before their fire. The dining room was very quiet and more on the romantic side. I wouldn't recommend it for a birthday dinner with two friends.

Tacombi has great tacos, and Cafe Habana has the best grilled corn.

My Vote for Best Falafel In Midtown, whats yours?

CRISP. I love the African sandwich with includes spicy peanut sauce. My fiance loves the Parisien sandwich with includes goat cheese. They also have a food truck and a newly opened location in Greeley Square.
