Leméac is the name of a famous publishing house that used to have offices in this building. I think it still exists but has moved elsewhere. It was rather a big name in the québec book world in the 50's and 60's, but not any more.

Both are very good and you won't be disappointed. But if your SO loves desserts, go for Les 400 Coups! The pastry chef is just amazing.

You can find a very good saucisse de Morteau, maybe the best in Montreal, at the charcuterie Queue de cochon, 6400, Saint-Hubert 514-527-2252.
They have a huge choice of sausages and cold cuts, and the quality is top notch.
