OC Jewish-style delis??
Another vote for Benji's. My wife and I eat breakfast there a couple times a month.
It's great!!!
New Italian in Tustin
My wife and I love this place. The food is GREAT, the people friendly, the prices reasonable, and they pour a generous glass of wine.
Try the veal piccata, or the shrimp alfredo, you WON'T be disappointed.
Four stars at least!!
Bagels - Phoenix Area
Have you tried Katz's deli on Central? It's a dive, but they have GREAT food.

B-Day Dinner for 7 in Laguna Niguel/Dana Point
We enjoyed the Cedar Creek Inn

Philly’s Best in Irvine / Eagles Game on TV
I stopped into the Philly’s Best in Irvine for a cheese steak, and as a bonus they have every Eagles game on TV (NFL Sports package). There was quite a crowd, and they told me they meet there every weekend. They also had a CS eating contest at halftime. One young man ate 5 CS’s in 12 minutes.
I found the cheese steak to be very tasty and enjoyed it. But I still prefer Frank’s Philadelphia in Costa Mesa over both Fredo’s and Philly’s Best.
Chicago Style Sports Bar in LA / OC ? Bears Game???
Are there any Chicago style sports bars in LA or OC county that show the Bears games on TV?
Chicago style food would be a plus.
Chicago Style Pizza?
Is this the place you're talking about?

I hope you guys are enjoying Tony's Little Italy...
I disagree. I grew up in Chi, now live in Tustin. Tony's is OK, but check out Edwardo's, Lou Malnati's, Silo, or Pequad's, then get back to us :)
Review- The Winery Restaurant, The District, Tustin
I heard a bunch of pro baseball players own The Winery. Anyone know if this is true?
Chicago’s Best in Irvine / my review.
Sure, just oder a beef "dry". They'll make it any way you want.
Chicago’s Best in Irvine / my review.
First let me say that I grew up on the north side of Chicago. I’ve eaten at Poochie’s, Hub’s, Big Herm’s, Irving’s, Super Dawg, Bobo’s and on and on and on...
I work next door to Chicago’s Best so I eat there often, and I gotta tell you it’s pretty good. The beef and the hotdogs are just like I remember them.
But if you’re not from Chi, you may not like it. Guys I work with went there and complained that the beef was “wet” and the hotdog had to much “stuff” on it.
Give them a try, you’ll like it.
Franks Philadelphia in Costa Mesa
Agreed, this place has the best Philly cheesesteaks in OC. Better than most of the steaks I've had in Philly.
