My son wants steak for his graduation dinner

High end and pricey, Id go with Cut or Mastros. However, if he doesnt have a palate that can really tell the difference between a $25 steak and a $100 aged, grass-fed, massaged and pampered cow, you may want to go for like a Fogo due to the portions and variety. The food is actually pretty good and if my parents were to take me here for a high school or college graduation (didnt have much youth experience at restaurants) I would have been super happy.

B-day dinner ------ 2 choices....

We have 2 kids (NOT COMING) and get to go out RARELY plus we have a friend coming into town.....

Dinner is in about two weeks and we are deciding between:

Hinoki & The Bird
Salt's Cure
Cliff's Edge (3rd choice due to location)

Very different places. Looking for great food and a fun experience.

Russ & Daughters type place in LA. need good NY bagels, spreads & smoked fish.

Im CRAVING it and shipping is almost $60 for priority overnight. There has to be something comparable in LA, right?

Amazing, thank you!

We are in LA and will be in NY April 5th. So far Takashi looks like MY top choice (wife might not be so hot on it). We already have a WD-50 reservation but looking to see if theres something else to try.... Ssam looks great as well, so does Babbo (sounds very filling).

Is there a place in NY like Animal out here?

Specifically we are looking for something memorable but not $250/person.

We like almost every type of cuisine and would try anything new.

Also, 42nd street or below in Manhattan is perfect.

Thank you!

Coming to Portland for 2 days and need food recommendations!

We (wife and I) fly in Friday and leave Sunday. For meals, we need:

Friday Lunch: yummy. open to anything, mid price range
Friday Dinner: something unique, delicious, memorable. price range, under $100/per person.
Saturday Dinner: inexpensive to mid with options for more than a few people.
Saturday/Sunday Breakfast: healthy with options.

We are very open to different cuisines.

I have no idea about areas/neighborhoods but we are staying at a Hotel Madera (near a Couch Park says google maps) and have an event on Saturday afternoon by 5th/Clay.

Thank you for your help!

99 Ranch Market--20 Kinds of Unknown Fish--Help!!!

I went to the 99 in Van Nuys---- I didnt see any fish in tanks, just stacked in ice bins. Didnt smell all that good. They had tanks of shell fish, but even that smelled pretty bad too. Fish felt slimy, I dont think that is a good thing?
