what to serve with cassoulet and cooking tips

I ordered the D'Artagnan Cassoulet kit and am planning on making this weekend. Any recommendations on what to serve with the cassoulet or tips for cooking? Can this be made the day before? Thanks so much!

Dining in Rio Grande, PR (near St. Regis)

We are traveling to Puerto Rico next month and will be staying at St. Regis Bahia Beach in Rio Grande. Looking for some recommendations for some off-site dining. Many thanks in advance!

Punta Mita suggestions

We will be vacationing in Punta Mita this spring and I am looking for some dining suggestions. Will be staying at the St. Regis but would love to venture outside the resort to some of the local restaurants. Have looked at Sufi and Casa Teresa Trattoria Italiana (formerly Vito's). Italian in Mexico seems a little strange, but have read positive reviews. We love authentic mexican so are willing to venture off the beaten path a little. Thanks for any suggestions!

short rib cooking question - what can I do ahead?

Thanks, everyone! If I plan on making everything in the slow cooker, what is the best way to reheat? Stay in the slow cooker? Transfer to dutch oven? Something else?!

short rib cooking question - what can I do ahead?

I am making short ribs in the slow cooker this weekend and need to do some things ahead of time because I'm tight on time in the morning. Can I sear all of the short ribs the night before and keep in the fridge until morning? Or would it be better for me to actually make EVERYTHING the day before and just reheat for our guests? Thanks!
