Marinating Lime and Orange Peel

I am totally in love with Gin and Tonics, I use Tang 10 and Q-tonic, with a twist of lime but I am in the mood for something a little spicier.

Being winter I wanted to take limes and blood oranges and soak them with tarragon, ginger, maybe some cinnamon, cloves or anise. So the peels would impart a spicy twist to compliment the crispness of the gin and tonic.

If anyone has seen something like this before and can show me an example, or has any ideas on what would go well with this let me know.

Otherwise I will be experimenting for the rest of the week before NYE on Saturday.

Can you get ANYTHING decent for lunch in Newark?

Try Ferry St. BBQ, it is not BBQ as americans make BBQ but rather roasted meats over a wood fire, no messy sauces... 6 bucks gets you a ton of chicken, rice and salad and it is delicious.
