Next Week: Visit #6

The lunch at Dick and Jennys looks good. I've only had dinner and it was amazing

Anything wrong at Patois?

personally I'd rather eat at patois.

Brunch UES or Midtown East plus Itinerary help

A restaurant that I went to recently and loved was Perilla. It was just great in every way. That might be a good choice, but it's downtown.

Brunch UES or Midtown East plus Itinerary help

skip buddakan!! it's old and dated. I think a nice place to go to brunch would be abc kitchen and you can make a reservation. What kind of food does your mom like? Midtown doesn't have great choices for food. What about Monkey bar for dinner in midtown?? They probably have a brunch too.

New Orleans restaurant for group of 10 during Jazz Fest!

Dick and Jennys would be my suggestion. It's a fun spot

Foodie's first trip to New Orleans and needs advice!!

I'd skip Dantes and go to Patois

A seriously detailed review of my 2nd trip to NOLA- 8 days of Delicious Blissful Gluttony!!!

Awesomeness-all I have to say is...burp

Help construct epic progressive dinner in New Orleans area - only the best

I agree with this except I would skip the pork tederloin and go to dick and jennys and get the savory cheese cake and then go to camelia grill to get the pecan pie thrown on the grill with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Italian: I've narrowed it down to Five...

I would skip convivio and hearth. I had so so meals at both places and was underwelmed

need good italian, american, or french to go to on the upper east side

any help would be appreciated

great dinner at dick and jennys

it was in a creamy cajun flavored sauce that was amazing with flounder shrimp, oysters, and I think crawfish.

great dinner at dick and jennys

It was so great!! I had a gulf shrimp and tasso savory cheesecake that was amazing. I also had a seafood stew which was great as well.

Bayona--yea or nay?

I would say no and go to one of these places instead: coquette, patois, dantes kitchen, dick and Jennys, liliette, or brightsens. I like all of these place better than bayona.

Burgers - West Village (not corner bistro)

I the dublin has great burgers with a really good chipoltle mayo

what snacks should I keep in my hotel fridge??

I might get hungry at a random time

Best dishes at Convivio???

I have to agree and I'm not that picky. The food lacked flavor.

Dinner choices narrowed down to 7

why don't you replace Tujagues with Brightsens. I ate there and I ate at stella too. I liked the food at Brightsens much better. I would prob switch from stella to August instead. I too am trying to figure out where to eat when I go back down. Don't forget to get the pecan pie thrown on the grill with a scoop of vanilla ice cream at Camelia grill.

Can ya'll look at my list and give feedback: Wed-One on Hampson, Thurs-Dick and Jennys, Fri-Dantes, Sat-August and I need a place for Sunday

I'll be down for Jazz fest. If you think I should negate one place please let me know-thanks

Loud, hearty cajun food, whiskey drinking

Sorry to disagree, but as a native New Yorker, I don't think there is anything Cajun about lukes. To me it feels like it could be one of the many restaurants in Manhattan. I second Jacque-imos too

one restaurant on hampson, dick and jennys, or Patois

thanks guys!!

one restaurant on hampson, dick and jennys, or Patois

please let me know which restaurant you would go to or what order you would put them in.

a few very excited foodies come back to NOLA.....please tell me where I should throw down!

I would skip Clancys. Everything I had was soaked in butter and fried too much. I love fried foods and butter, but I just felt a lot of the dishes lacked flavor

In New York for a week — did I pick restaurants well?

if you have over 200 things on the menu then a lot of stuff is frozen and gross. Skip shopsins and go to Prune. Also Nickys is still my vote for the bahn mi and I have been to the place on Mott as well as baogette.

At convivio I had had a pasta with sea urchin, but I tried 3 other pastas at the table and wasn't impressed.

I would change baoguette and go to Nickys on 2street between A and B. Also I had the tasting menu at convivio and I really thought it was just ok. I would skip Convivio altogether.

Visiting over Mardi Gras - please critique the list.

I would skip clancys. It was the one dinner I didn't enjoy. Everything was overly fried if that's possible. Brightsens was amazing. Definitely get the shrimp roumalaude to start. I had fried food at Brightsens too, but it was delicious.

need a great lunch spot within ten minutes from the ritz carlton in miami for Saturday
