I like making sun tea with 20 standard teabags per gallon of water...I also add several sprigs of mint to my jar and "brew" for about 2 hours...I add approx 1.5 cups of sugar and viola!! Mint Sun Tea! I'm so addicted. With Tetley tea, I notice they're the bigger bags so I do 3 cups water/bag so I do 18 cups of water per 6 teabags and add 2 cups of sugar

Jicama and Orange Salad

We made this on our practical in International Lab in culinary school last night and ACED IT!! (91%).. Our chef was very impressed...he said, after he judged the other tables he doubled back to ours to grab another biteful of the salad!! We added blood oranges, mangoes and red chiles to ours as well.

Basic Lentil Soup

This was simply devine!!! I tweaked the seasonings, because, in my opinion, the amounts above weren't enough. It was sort of bland. I also added additional seasonings, smoked paprika, an italian blend of oregano, red pepper and basil, and lemon pepper.
