Nice dinner with grandparents (similar to Marea or Perry St.) I need a nice place to take my grandparents for dinner on a Saturday night. To get an idea of what I am looking for, in the past we have been to and enjoyed Marea, Perry St. and Lure (a little too noisy for them, but loved the food). We are very plain eaters- It doesn't have to be a "big name" restaurant- would love some fancy little gems as well. if anyone can recommend something in Manhattan (Midtown to above Canal St.) that would be much appreciated! |

Birthday Dinner- Need fun ideas thanks! Great suggestions. The food was mediocre- nothing much to say. I would definitely go back for the fun atmosphere. |

Birthday Dinner- Need fun ideas I went to a birthday dinner at MPD last night. At a certain point everyone started getting up on their tables and dancing. I'm looking to have a birthday dinner and want something like this. Does anyone know of other places with a similar experience? |

Group Birthday Dinner- Small plates, fun. My apologies. We will have around twenty guests. Cheap drinks is key. |

Group Birthday Dinner- Small plates, fun. I'm looking for a place to have a joint birthday dinner. We were thinking a place that caters to big parties, tapas and like not expensive/ fun. We will be having around 20 and looking to pay $60 each at most. |

Restaurants similar to ABC Kitchen I am looking for restaurants in NYC that are similar to ABC Kitchen- not exactly the "hip" factor, but the freshness. Even places that have creative dishes. Is there anything in the city that you think measures up? |

Need suggestions: Group Dinner- Inexpensive Drinks A group of ten girls in their mid 20's are looking for a restaurant to celebrate a friends birthday somewhere below 14th street. We are more concerned about inexpensive drinks than food, and want somewhere with a fun atmosphere. This would be for a Saturday night. |
