Where to buy ground buffalo?
Anyone know a place that carries ground buffalo regularly? Found a recipe that calls for it, not sure where the best place to get it is. Thanks!
Californian/Italian/Mediterranean For a Group?
I am looking for a restaurant that can accommodate a group of 20 for a birthday dinner that somehow fits the category of cuisine above. Ideally we were going to go to Cliff's Edge on Sunset, but they cannot accommodate our party on the day I have in mind. Does anyone have suggestions for other places that might be similar in menu and price that can accommodate such a group? I thank you in advance for your help.
Birthday dinner with a group
Thank you for the suggestions! AOC is his favorite restaurant, but I think it is too pricey with wine and food for the group that is attending (price ranges are all over the place, trying to keep it reasonable). STK is also out for this reason. Cube is too small (though it would be perfect since its BYOB) as they will only seat up to parties of 12. We are going to be about 20. I am thinking something along the lines of the Cliff's Edge in Silverlake (though I think they are full for the night). Does anyone have any other thoughts? I am looking for Italian, Mediterranean, or Californian cuisine. Thanks in advance!
Good Pizza On Pico near La Cienega
Thanks! I know exactly where that is and always wondered about it, I will have to give it a try. By the way, I do not recommend Marchello's if you are looking for other pizza options in the area, its just not very good at all.
Birthday dinner with a group
I am looking for suggestions for a birthday dinner that has potential to have a group as large at 20. Its a 30th birthday, so I am looking for a place that has great food, will suit a lot of different tastes, and isn't over the top expensive. The area doesn't matter, anywhere between Silverlake and Santa Monica really will do. Has anyone had a good experience with a large group at a place with great food? This may be asking a lot. Thanks in advance.
Appetizers and Happy Hour Near Beverly Hills?
Thank you all for your help! We are going to try M&S this week!
Appetizers and Happy Hour Near Beverly Hills?
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good place to get drinks after work and light (as in not a full mean) food in the Beverly Hills area that is not super expensive? Something along the lines of 3rd stop (but not there because I am looking for a change in scenery)? Does such a place exist? Has anyone tried the Backstage Cafe? I am the social coordinator for the week and need help! Thanks in advance.
Puerto Rican/Dominican Food in Providence?
Anyone have good suggestions for Puerto Rican and or Dominican food in Providence (or RI)? I am looking for a good arroz con pollo, tostones, steak and onions, and maybe even mofongo. Thanks!
Vegetarian Options in Pico/La Cienega area?

Good food near USC, dining alone
If you want great, cheap Mexican I HIGHLY recommend La Taquiza on Figueroa and 30th (its in a strip mall in the corner). Try anything with al pastor or carne asada. The fish tacos are good, too.
Where to buy sweet chilis (aji dulce)?
I am looking to buy this pepper, but have not seen it in any grocery stores or bodegas. Does anyone know if they are available here? They are not hot peppers, and I need them for a Puerto Rican recipe. Thanks!
No Dunkin' Donuts in SoCal = crime (moved from LA)
I couldn't agree more, there needs to be a DD out here! I miss the iced coffee the most, especially because you can get one for $2 instead of the options out here.........

Is there anywhere in LA to get Puerto Rican or Dominican food?
Best Spicy Food in Providence?
Looking for something spicy that also has a good sit down environment, any thoughts?
Best Happy Hour/Meeting Place Downtown?
Looking for a place for a larger group of law students to meet tomorrow for happy hour/drinks downtown or near USC (not 29 cafe, or 901). What are the best places that can accommodate groups of maybe 10 or so (not necessarily sitting, but not too cramped). Any ideas??
Good Food/Drinks near USC and Downtown??
I am a law student at USC and really enjoy going out for good food and drinks, but now am on a students budget. I splurge on meals and nights out now and then, but I am looking for places near the USC or downtown area that have the best of all worlds - great food and drinks at semi affordable prices in places that are not overrun with college students (my friends and I are in our mid to late twentys). Any suggestions (I am new to LA so I am starting from scratch here) are welcome. Thanks!
Best Fried Chicken in West LA?
Where can you get the best fried chicken somewhere around Pico and La Cienega?
Small Plates and Wine?
We've been to AOC, which I liked, and Tasca, which wasn't amazing. We are thinking Cube, anyone have thoughts?
Small Plates and Wine?
Friends and I are looking for a place to go to dinner this evening that takes walk-ins. We went to Pizzeria Mozza last weekend, walked in and waited about 30 mins (arriving at 9:15pm), had great wine, and a perfect amount of food to share. Looking to do something similar again, tapas were mentioned, any suggestions? Ideally a place with good wine, not too expensive, and plates to share. Location isn't particularly important.
Mexican in Santa Monica?
