Anniversary meal in Kyoto?

This is why I am not an accountant. Yes, I meant ¥20,000.

Anniversary meal in Kyoto?

I'll be in Kyoto for a week this summer. I've been reading through all the threads on this and haven't come to any conclusions, so wanted to toss this out there. We are staying in Higashiyama. I'd like a long, special, unique Japanese kaiseki experience for our anniversary. I have on my list of possibilities:

Harise
Nishiki
Hana Kitcho
Kikunoi

My wife is a little less adventurous than I am and also will likely freak out if the price gets too close to 200,000JPY/person. Can anyone recommend which one will fit my budget best and be most welcoming and communicative with English speakers? From what I read, the food quality and service quality at all these should be excellent.

Thank you in advance.

Afternoon Tea in London with Children?

I've perused the boards and not quite seen the recommendations for which I'm seeking:

Going to visit London this spring with my wife and two boys (5 and 8). They are relatively well behaved and we regularly take them to fairly nice restaurants, but not extremely fancy ones and they aren't perfect.

I don't think we'll have time for multiple adventures but would really like a classic British high tea--if that's the proper term.

Any suggestions for the nicest setting, service, tea, and treats that I can get away with having kids at? Because we're not going to do this again, cost is not really a factor.

Central London preferably but as long as it's not too far out of the way, I don't mind a drive.

Thanks!

Anywhere to buy inexpensive whole squid in 16/32oz packages in or near Santa Monica?

You guys are awesome. I can get at both places. Can't believe I didn't think to check Costco. Thank you!

My local grocery stores don't seem to carry it. Anyone seen frozen squid around?
