I have a friend who is having some very serious surgery and I'm planning to purchase a gift certificate for her and her family for a meal delivery service so that they can order what they like, when they like, online.
I was about to pull the trigger when i thought that maybe i should check in with some local folks first since i'm way across the country from her and don't know the area.

I have a generous amount of money to spend as our team at work all contributed. I was looking at Doorstep Delivery since they service so many various restaurants in her area. Anyone know them and have any feedback?
I was also considering splitting the amount between that, and between a local supermarket delivery service.

If anyone has any suggestions or feedback, I'd really appreciate it.
