Does anyone have a recipe for the Israeli pastry called shoshanim? It translates to roses in English. It looks like a cinnamon roll but it doesn't taste as gooey as the cinnabon roll. |

Looking for a typical New York restaurant to celebrate a 30th birhday for a group of Aussies How about Dos Caminos? They have several branches - but they have nice outdoor spaces (so long as you book in advance) in Soho and Meatpacking districts. Their menu is Mexican with great cocktails. Sushi Samba in Soho has a nice rooftop restaurant. But they're a bit on the expensive side. ----- SushiSamba 7 Dos Caminos |

I used to see them everywhere but now when I need them I can't find those green spinach tortillas? Where can I find the really green (not slightly green) tortillas in Manhattan or Queens? Need before New Year's Eve! thanks! |

Fresh suckling pig -where to buy? Where can I find a fresh suckling pig - the 12-16 pound variety - not the larger pigs - in Manhattan? I'm assuming that the Hispanic population roast a lot of pigs for their special events? Which butchers are they using? Please be specific - name and address if you have it, Thanks! |

Fresh suckling pig - where to go? Where can I find a fresh suckling pig to cook - the 12-16 pound variety - not the larger pigs - in Queens or in the Bronx? I'm assuming that the Hispanic population roast a lot of pigs for their special events? Which butchers are they using? I already tried many butchers and all they're selling are around 26 pound and over variety - which is not suckling pig - these are older pigs. I want specifics - name and address if you have it, Thanks! |
