Agape Substance

Had not yet made a reservation so I decided to go to Le Galopin, and had a fantastic meal. Will be reporting back on a number of outstanding meals and one slight disappointment once I get caught-up at work and with all the hoilday stuff.

Agape Substance

As mentioned on a previous post I will be in Paris in early December and I am putting the finishing touches on my restaurant reservations. One question I have is I read that Chef David Toutain will be leaving Agape Substance on December 1, 2012, and was wondering if I should be concerned about making a reservation for a date after then? I haven't read anything that raises this issue but just inquiring form people in the know!
Thanks

Help with a few remaining restaurant choices

Thanks everyone for your input. John I did not realize that you had a points ranking system, that is great! No one has weighed in on the Friday choice for lunch between CLJ and Spring, having heard such amazing things about both your iput on this decision would be great.

Help with a few remaining restaurant choices

Will be returning next month to Paris for a five night stay and would appreciate some input on a few difficult restaurant choices. On Thursday evening we have reservations at Frenchie (missed this on our last visit), and for lunch on Friday I can't make up my mind between Spring and Chez L'ami Jean. On Saturday for dinner I would like to try what John Talbot refers to as the "new places"; my choices are Pirouette, Abri, Septime and Croms'Exquis. Since Sundays are difficult I thought we would do our mandatory bistro visit for escargot, steak & fries and profiteroles (probably at Le Cafe du Commerce). That leaves dinner on Monday for either Vivant Table, Abri (if I don't go Saturday) or L'Office. Any and all input from the board would be greatly appreciated.

Restaurant Pamela Popo

Not a problem, as we will be back in December for a return visit. Unfortunately we did not make it to Pamela Popo last year so I am still interested in input. We have been to Paris many times and I am just curious why you don't think it would be a suitable restaurant for tourists? Any other new recommendations would also be welcomed. We enjoyed many ideas from the board last year especially Le Gaigne Restuarant, Severo and Ze Kitchen Gallerie
