San Francisco Hound Coming to New Orleans: Please Critique My List for My First Visit!!!
I am going to NOLA for the first time (as a food tourist) as well on the weekend of june 15th and would be interested on how your trip turned out. I have been doing a lot of research and you have/had chosen a lot of the same places i am hoping to visit...All the locals seem to be mostly like minded on their recommendations i was hopping to get a visitors opinion on how your choices turned out.

who needs a good a location and good signage when it is alread being discussed on the internet...well this is the first i have heard of it.
but i do agree horrible location if you are expecting to get passer by customers. by time you see it you have missed your exit and to turn around is hell right there no matter which direction you are coming from.

i dont know if this qualifies as authentic but i love cafe blanco for breakfast and or lunch.

+1 for Billadelphia only thing in DFW i have found that comes close to resembling a real cheesesteak from phily.

Bohanan's Prime Steaks-seafood in san antonio...has a pretty damn good one....but in my opinion you have to be a really bad cook to mess up chillie....i love all chillie...no beans, beans, too much tomatoe, not enough tomatoe....i love them all and fritos, cheese some onions and louisiana hot sauce just make it taste better.

I will be in the city this weekend and me and a couple of friends are heading over to brooklyn brewery sat afternoon to have a couple beers....my question is where would be a couple other good bars to add to our list to do a little miny bar hopping expo?
(DFW) Need help find a romantic dinner location
Well...we ended up doing Hibiscus. Reason being my wife really wanted to go to Neighborhood services, but i was not excited about waiting an hour or more to eat dinner. I was not disapointed with hibiscus but i was not impressed. The crab dip was the star of the night (with my wife) i thougth the cheese over powered the crab. The lobster bisq was the best thing of the night for me... the wife got the tenderloin and i got the halibut and we shared mac n cheese (like i said not disapointed but not impressed).

Its my Anniversery next week and I need help finding a romatic dinning location. with great food.
Last year we did lola and LOVED it i want to go back there but the wife wants to try something new.
Only prerequesites are that the food be great, and a romantic feel (or cozy)...price is not an issue.
Any suggestions? Something around downtown dallas.

Yeah i used to go to a hong kong super market in S Arlington off of pioneer...I will check central market and whole foods before i take a trip out there.
