Iceland other than Reykjavik?

Would love to hear more about any of the restaurants you went to (and enjoyed) in Iceland. We're planning a trip for early March so would appreciate any and all recommendations in general, but specifically restaurants - Reykjavik and beyond!
Thanks

Crabs In New York City?

Last summer, the Mermaid Inn had a bucket of blue crabs on Tuesdays. I'm hoping they do it again this year. I grew up in Baltimore and a summer is not a summer until I've had my old bay crabs!

I might try La Promenade...I hadn't heard of it, but it looks great! The Dutch's lunch menu looked a little limited, and the Tap Room at Colicchio and Sons uses the pizza oven to heat food (everything is pre-made and separate from the kitchen for the main dining room). Thanks for all the suggestions!

Try Capsouto Freres - it's a pretty big restaurant

It would be around 4-6 people. In terms of budget, I would say no more than $100-$120 per person (I am anticipating a bunch of drinks!), so maybe around $60 for the food itself. In terms of cuisine, I would prefer American, Italian, French, small plates (pretty flexible)...probably not Asian. In the past, I've enjoyed craftbar, inoteca, bar pitti, bar americain, edi and the wolf, cookshop. What do you think about the Dutch or Blaue Gans for lunch?

Holiday lunch for Dec 9 - need reco's

Hi all - I'm planning on a holiday lunch with girlfriends on Friday Dec 9 and wanted someplace festive (but not necessarily decked out in holiday decorations). In my mind's eye, I envision a circle table where we can drink wine and be merry (lots of laughs). The circular table is not an imperative however. Any suggestions? We all live in Manhattan so any location in city would work.

Thank you!
