Cleveland - dog friendly restaurants/bistros/bars?
not in the downtown area (about a 20 minute drive from downtown), but The Wine Bar in Rocky River has a Sunday dog friendly brunch on their patio. Here's a link

pie shops/bakeries near Englewood CO
A few years ago I had a boston cream pie from a pie shop or bakery near Englewood where I was staying. It was not your usual boston cream pie. It was a regular bcp with custard between the cake layers and covered in ganache and put in a flaky pie crust. I cannot remember the name of the place. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Thanks for any help.
La Madonna? (Las Vegas)
I just checked and their website was not up. however their phone number worked and they are open. I will be in LV in February and this place sounds great.

Dim Sum in Boulder or Niwot CO
My brother just moved to Niwot from Cherry Creek. I am looking to take him and my SIL somewhere where they serve regional food or something we don't normally cook ourselves (like dim sum). Is The Kitchen a good option for Saturday lunch? My husband's cousin is a chef at Bistro Vendome, so we may make it there for Sunday brunch if we do get into downtown Denver. Any and all suggestions will be very much appreciated.
Dim Sum in Boulder or Niwot CO
Thanks for the responses everyone. I'm in Cleveland and we don't have much in the dim sum category so I'm always looking for something good when I travel. I know he has been to Colterra, but I will keep all the other (and future) suggestions in mind. Thanks again.

Dim Sum in Boulder or Niwot CO
I will be visiting my brother in Niwot next week and would like to take him out for dim sum or to a soup/noodle place on Saturday. Any recommendations?

Chinese and Indian in Cleveland Ohio
As far as Indian for your spice tenderfoot, you might want to try a lunch buffet to give her a nice variety of what's available along with some spicier options for you. I've not been, though it's on my list of things I have to do very soon, but have heard very good things about India Garden in western Lakewood (18404 Detroit). Another place that I have been to, though it's been a while, is Kashmir Palace on Brookpark Extension near Great Northern.
Another suggestion for dim sum is C&Y. I was there earlier this year for a group dim sum and we had a wonderful feast for $16 per person which included tax and tip.

Northern Ohio - between Lorain and Sandusky
Are you traveling east or west on I-80? That makes a big difference in suggesting places that are closer to Cleveland/Lorain/Sandusky or closer to the Sandusky/Toledo area.
As Stuart mentioned, there are some great places in that area, but most are closer to I-90 or I-480, which really doesn't take you too much out of your way. But it would be helpful to know in which direction you're heading.
