Please help an overwhelmed mom with restaurant recs!
Let me first say, if you have a well- behaved one year old, many places are fine.. I like Poppy and definitely fine with a kid, Olivar as well. Downtown, Taste is friendly for kids... It is as easy as calling and asking the restaurants if they have a high chair, my advice is to dine early, like 5 pm when restaurants are not too busy. I find that to be the best time with kids...

If you are going to try a gluten-free bakery and want the best in my opinion, then I would say Wheatless in Seattle is the best...but you need a car or a cab

Joey Brewer of the Swinery Passed Away
Sadly, one of the owners of The Swinery passed away this weekend.
I thought this would be interesting to share because The Swinery is a really great place with great people
His story was interesting., he started his life on a different path and was able ( thanks to Farestart) to get his life together.

unfortunately no gluten-free bakeries downtown though the Fairmont is very accommodating with special dietary needs so keep that in mind. They have a wonderful restaurant.
A bit of a walk but still downtown, Andaluca has a gluten-free menu and wonderful food.
Anthony's has a gluten-free menu too.

Looking for toddler-friendly AND delicious in Queen Anne
Enza's is super kid friendly with a kids area.. As is Twirl, the cafe across the street, on Thursdays they are open late and you can let the kids run wild while you have a glass of wine and a sandwich.
Toulouse Petit is okay to bring kids too.

...but not Tutta Bella
You could try Revel , they probably have high chairs and Toulouse Petite has no problem with babies from what it seems.
The new Serious Pie has high chairs and would be fine. since they have lots of room.
Vios is Greek food but has a wonderful kids area.
Bllackboard Bistro in West Seattle wouid be friendly too.

Downtown Seattle
For a Tom D. Serious Pie is great or Seatown or Palace Kitchen. I second Spur, I sent some friends from out of town and they were blown away. In the Market, I like Matt's in the Market especially for lunch on the bar and Elliot's is a landmark that you won't want to miss.

Excellent Felafel found
Yes, Hallava is the place. He puts it in the falafel for you and there is no salad bar but it really is good
Where can you buy Hummus in Seattle and who has the best?
by far, Gorgeous Georges has the best hummus. I don't know if he sells take out but this is the kind that you would find in the middle east. Sabra is the kind you find in a supermarket in the middle east and has way too much garlic,
Turkey Dinner...Tonight!
I would definitely try Whole Foods, I am pretty sure they must have some thanksgiving foods

Serious Pie Hands Down,

Seattlelite looking for Manhattan food
I was dreaming but I guess not possible. I have decided on Nougatine, the less formal part of Jean- georges, apparently same food and stroller friendly.
I will save my white table cloth craving for Rover's in Seattle. Rover's is not baby friendly but we do have a babysitter that we can trust.
Rover's is really one of a kind.
yes and I would appreciate any suggestions for French or anything that is less fancy? I have exactly 3 days.... so not too much
thank you, thank you
