One other point about New Bedford Fisherman's Market. Check their hours before you go. |

New Bedford Fisherman's Market is the place I go to for my seafood. Apparently they have their own day boat fleet as a source of their seafood. Great prices and I have always been satisfied with what I got there. I work with several people that also use Kyler's. I've tried them a couple of times for steamers and have been disappointed both times unfortunately. |

Where to eat driving from TF Green to Milford, MA (but not Providence)? Atwells Ave is usually insane on a Friday night, and your best bet to get into a decent restaurant there is with reservations. I would avoid that place on a Friday nite like the plague! A week night, sure, but otherwise I'll pass. |

Knife Sharpening on Cape or S.E. Mass.? I'd be real careful about using a machine to sharpen knives. The heat generated by speed of the grinding stones will adversely affect the temper of the blade. |

Breakfast place from south western MA/CT border to Bennington, VT area I'll second Blue Benn. My daughter went to school in Bennington. I've had several breakfasts and a few lunches there and haven't been disappointed. |

Weekend away -- Providence, RI for "Halloween" I would dismiss the Liberty Elm. I've been there and the service was nonexistent. |

What's the best place for breakfast around Warwick RI Spoonem's isn't bad, although I've only been there once. I like the Sunrise Cafe on West Shore Rd. they have a large assortment of omlets to choose from. They also have a few different versions of hash that they make, and, they home fries aren't previously frozen. |

It's still there, however, this price has changed. I went there a couple of years ago so that I could say I tried it and the price was $75 per person. I wasn't aware of any time restrictions while I was there. |

You forgot Poco Loco |
|

Rhode Island - Providence & Newport A couple of other food trucks are, Poco Loco which is a taco/burrito truck. Good, fresh tasting food there. There is also a Korean BBQ truck that I haven't tried yet but, gets pretty good reviews. |

There's a pretty good one on Gano Street, but the name escapes me at the moment |

Good Southern Cuisine / BBQ in Providence/Patwucket, RI LJ's BBQ on East Ave in Pawtucket (just over the line from the east side of Providence) is your best bet for now. |

Anybody know if there's anything in the works for United BBQ? I was really disappointed when they closed. I thought they were one of the best options in the area for barbecue. |
