I was saying "nope" as in they're aren't fresh. I ended up going on Pusateri's and got myself 6 Gryfe's and 6 MTL. It's the closest I'll get to a satisfactory bagel. |

NOPE.... I guess I'll further elaborate: Fresh Bagels in Toronto. |

I AM NOT WILLING TO TRAVEL TO ST. LAWRENCE. SO NO. I AM NOT WILLING TO TRAVEL TO NORTH YORK. SO NO. Does anyone have suggestions for bagels in Toronto near the specified intersection? |

I'm w/o a car. So is there anything near Bay&Bloor? I DON'T LIVE IN NORTH YORK AND I DON'T PLAN TO TRAVEL TO NORTH YORK FOR BAGELS. IF I PLANNED TO, I WOULD SIMPLY GO TO GRYFE'S, SINCE I KNOW THEY'RE THE BEST. |

The What-A-Bagel closed shop. |

Gryfe's is also the best I've had. Anything in the same ballpark would satisfy me. Montreal-style bagels aren't bad either. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they taste like they have less salt. I just need quality. |

After two years of being in this city, I still can't find a good bagel. Can someone tell where to go (I'm at Bay&Bloor)? I'm eating a substandard bagel as I type this. Thanks. |

Bay & Bloor Chinese Recommendations I'm living at Bay & Bloor this year for school. I'm looking for some recommendations for Chinese food that's in walking distance of me. |

Should I talk them out of LICK's? Lick's is a step up in quality, but I presume it's also a lot more fatty than Wendy's. From what I've read, Wendy's is closer as well. Of course, I'm probably splitting hairs when it comes to deciding which burger joint is healthier. |

Is Cobbs the best bakers in TO? I wish people would provide the addresses where some of the bakeries are located, because you guys are getting me hungry. |

What do Toronto restos do best? Secondly, I want to stress that I'm sure Toronto provides primo-quality Mexican and Greek food. The problem lies within the cuisine itself, not the degree of authenticity found in Toronto. |
What do Toronto restos do best? Italian, French, Caribbean, Indian, Chinese and Japanese. I think if you looked for any of the above mentioned cuisines, you'd be delighted by the quality Toronto offers. |
Why there are no good Mexican Restos in Toronto I'm not trying to stir up trouble, I'm just giving him my opinion, which I thought could be of use to him. |
Why there are no good Mexican Restos in Toronto I haven't read the entire thread, but the simplest answer is that Mexican cuisine isn't any good. Greeks are a culinary-challenged people as well. Your best bet is to stay away. |

I've tried a couple bakeries in Chinatown, but does anyone know where to find the definitive coconut buns? |
The onion pancakes are no joke. A very delicious appetizer for a small fee. |

Thanks a lot for your help. And I'm relieved to hear that their quality is consistent from locale to locale! |

I went to a location in North York and thought it was fantastic, but I am living in the downtown area. Someone told me there was a location on Spadina (in Chinatown), but can anyone tell me exactly where it is situated at? Thanks. |
