Hi John, Thanks so much for your prompt response. Much appreciated. This will be my sixth trip to Paris over the span of far too many years. But this is the first time I am doing my homework and I hope to go prepared with a list of restaurants/reservations. We are open to anything really. Don't want anything too pricey for the meals with our children... I have not checked out a list of places closed in August but I will try to find that. (I just called Frenchie and they are closed until Aug 25.) Thanks again. Ann
All, I am writing for suggestions on where to go in Paris this August. We are looking for two types of restaurants: 1 - those where we can take our five year-old son and six year-old daughter for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 2 - those where my husband and I can dine alone. (we have a babysitter for three nights.) we would like to book one very high-end restaurant. We will also be in Aix-en-Provence for a week and I would love suggestions for that area as well. Thanks so much very much in advance.I promise to post reviews when I return from my trip. Annie
My husband and I are heading to Rome for four glorious nights to celebrate our five-year anniversary.
This is our first real trip without our toddlers so we are beyond excited. We are looking for great restaurants, varying from casual to formal, expensive to reasonable. We would prefer to stay away from very touristy venues but realize that may be difficult.
Thanks so much for any feedback you may have.
I promise to provide detailed feedback upon my return.
