Excellent, thanks so much! I had seen your review of Tulsi but then got scared off by some more recent reviews online. Might be worth a shot anyway as the neighborhood sounds interesting. Will try to track down the other one, too. We also found a listing for a place in East Finchley, which is a bit closer to us. Will post if we make it there and it's good! Also really want to try the bhel puri/pani puri stands in East Ham one of these days. |

Hi, my wife and I have been living off these posts since we moved here from Brooklyn this summer--extremely grateful for the tips (Thai 101, Sedap, Pearl Liang, Great Queen St, etc). I've been searching but can't find a clear recommendation for my latest craving. Has anyone found a good Gujarati restaurant here? Perhaps in Wembley or Tooting? Am missing home-cooked food and thought it might be fun to go to one of the Indian neighborhoods since it's almost Diwali ... Thanks! ----- Sedap |
