Have you checked the Sam's Club in Concord or Manchester? |

The ShopRite in Bristol sells a foot long potato hot dog roll, would be great if you could get them shipped with the dogs. |

Wine Stores in Hanover/Norwich area Another Norwich Wine & Spirits recommendation, Peter takes good care of his customers. |

Where to buy meat in the Pioneer Valley? While I no longer live in the area whenever I'm back I try to plan a visit to Hatfield Beef in Hatfield, Ma. I bring a cooler with freezer packs. |

"Fat Franks," Bellows Falls, VT - Go there NOW! UPDATE - Driving back through VT, stopped in to pick up some hot dogs from the deli case, The place was jumping, burgers, dogs and lots of fries. All of the seats upstairs and downstairs were filled. Meanwhile the pizza place across the way had only a few customers, the China Garden Buffet parking lot was nearly empty. The Fat Franks, Regular Franks and Skinny Franks I purchased were grilled up on Sunday afternoon were excellent. ----- |

Norwich/White River Junction with kids For Kid friendly I'd go with Ramunto's in Hanover, NH. Lui Lui in West Lebanon is also very kid friendly, has more menu options. ----- |

Johnny Ad's. Abbot's, or Flanders Fish Market Hi Jvaill40, would you give the name of the Fish Market you mentioned in your post. While we may not get back to Niantic this season it will be good to have for next summer. Thanks |

Johnny Ad's. Abbot's, or Flanders Fish Market In agreement on Flanders, haven't been for a couple of years so decided to try again this past Sunday evening on Labor Day weekend. Food was only OK, service was less than OK. They didn't seem that busy to make it back to check on the table. Only doing so before asking if we wanted any coffee or dessert. Then after we declined taking nearly 10 minutes to return with the check. While my son said his wild salmon was good both my wife and I thought it was overcooked. We also had Whole Belly Clams an order of Fish and Chips, and Calmari. Seemed to not get so many actual whole clams, may have been the bottom of the bucket? I don't know if they offer an upgrade of Fish/chips, I think that it was likely Pollack. |

We've also liked Singapore Grill & Sushi Bar in New London, Sonny the owner usually visits your table, explains the specials and preparation of the menu items. My wife who is not so willing to try new foods has broadened her range as a result. |

Add Illiano's Grill on Flanders Road to your list. Very good pizza, calzones, lasagna etc. They have good choices for slices also if you need a quick lunch. We vacation in Niantic area each summer as well, took us a while to find this place, best in the area. |

Movie and then Dinner at the Main Street Grille in Niantic, CT Went for lunch at Main Street Grille in Niantic this past Fourth of July Weekend, Crab and Butternut Squash Crepes w/Lobster Morney Sauce, my wife had the Stonington Scallops, food was very good, a bit slow with service but we were in no hurry anyway. ----- |

"Fat Franks," Bellows Falls, VT - Go there NOW! Stopped in the past Friday after a trip to Mass. My Bacon Cheese Fat Frank was very tasty. I really like the roll (not sure what it is) that was used. Had I not so much Thanksgiving leftovers at the house I would have bought some items from the case for home. |

While not exclusively Vermont I thought this unique blended cheese was excellent. |

Suggestions for dinner before baseball game in Manchester, NH I've found the food at the Fisher Cats stadium to be good concession food. I think its better than what they serve at the Verizon Wireless for events. The Sam Adams Grill in the left field area has some decent pre-game specials. |

Any update on the status of Dip Net? The web address indicated their lease was not renewed. |

I'll second Tom's Long Dog's, very close to you in Northhampton. |

I believe the arsonist was the son of a police officer, anyway the CI is a sad memory, agreed not so much for the food but pitchers of beer on the patio back in the day. |

The Whippi Dip is decent snack bar food. Usual menu but they also have pulled pork and beef brisket sandwiches on the menu. Prices are reasonable. |

Udder Delight has great ice cream!! Fairlee VT is a small town,(less than 1,000) with two seasonal Ice Cream stands within a half mile of each other. |

Can I Say That America's Test Kitchen REALLY Irritates Me?! This is one of the shows that I DVR or Tivo weekly, I fast forward past the intro and sometimes the recipe of the day as well if its not interesting to me. I agree that Kimball is too "all knowing" so I also like seeing him miss on the blind tastings. I enjoy the show and have learned from it especially the equipment segment. |
