Sunday Lunch/Brunch - italian?
Mom and her sisters love to go to Trattoria Alba for lunch - Unfortunately they are no longer open for lunch on a Sunday
Looking for a place that doesnt rush you out the door on Sunday. Not an Irish/pub feel or a diner. Or a Korean/Mexican place. Not some place that simlar to a Sarabeths or a Penelopes that you might have to wait long for a table of 4
Preferrably under $25
Between 30 & 37th streets - 6th avenue and 2nd avenue
Thanks!

prickly pear margarita
i did the mesh strainer as well.... (the 1st batch) my question is more for people who know about the pear - is the inside supposed to be all seeds? i didnt see much "meat"
prickly pear margarita
I have had these before and very tasty - but never tried it at home
i found this recipe
http://www.saveur.com/article/Drink-Recipes/Prickly-Pear-Margarita
followed the directions - but...
when i cut open the pear... it was all seeds - i didnt really see any "meat"
i basically squeezed it through cheesecloth - but in essence it was just juice i was getting out of it
did i do something wrong? or are there various types of prickly pears?
thanks!
Kim
