Markham/Richmond Hills best sushi place for nigiri?

I would say Miyabi (Hwy 7 and Leslie) or Inatei (Leslie north of Hwy 7)

Can we revisit the PATH?

It used to be huge, I'm finding it's getting smaller and smaller

Need a foodie friendly "lux dive"

Hmmm at $20 or less for a plate, Marben would be a good choice.

SLAB Burgers - Charles/Bay - fresh ground/hand made patties

You were not kidding about a poor website, why even bother launching one if it doesn't work! Thanks for the heads up though

Quick and cheap breakfast close to Eaton Centre or the Distillery District?

The Senator is close to Eaton Centre and you can't go wrong there!

Mother's Day Brunch in Markham/Richmond Hill area

We've been going to the Delta for a few years, but it's getting progressively worse each year and might look for other options.

The Hilton Suites and Angus Glen are a few places friends have gone and have though were decent. Nothing mind blowing that I've heard of up here though.

Food Trucks' Food

I hit El Gastro last week when they were at Bay/Adelaide and had the Pork Belly taco. I thought it was quite delcious, a little pricey for what you get, but I really enjoyed the sauce they used in there, I don't remember all the details as to what was in it though.

I've tried Caplanskys for the donuts and the pulled beef sandwhich. The donuts were really good, the pulled beef kinda sucked...too stringy.

Tried toasted tangerine for the pulled chicken, thought it was ok, not awesome, but not bad either. I want to try the fried ravioli next time as people say that is quite good.

Another one bite the dust - 'Jun Jun' aka 'Chicken & Noodle' no more!!

I miss Big Joy too, that place was the best

Peking Duck for TWO - Emperor, Brilliant, Other?

Wow! That is dirt cheap for quality peking duck, must give it a try!

Peking Duck for TWO - Emperor, Brilliant, Other?

How much is their Monday special?

O & B Cafe on Front Street - if I choose to eat here, will it be as disappointing as Canteen in Bell Lightbox?

There is also Teronni and Biff's in the area which are in your range and good places. I would take Biff's over O&B Cafe, both are O&B, but Biff's more interesting if you like French.

Yang's Dim Sum - A Latest Update

Menu, all the high end places are menu

Anything open early (5am) in Markham/Richmond Hill

Sometimes I need to head out early and want to grab something to eat, other than McDs and Timmies, are there any good sit down places open? Doesn't even have to be breakfast food although I'd prefer that!

Lunch / Take-out near Eaton Centre...anything worth having?

Its fresh hot roast beef carved to order - rare :) They have various toppings as well. It's good stuff :)

Lunch / Take-out near Eaton Centre...anything worth having?

Ya I am not sure why it's not more popular either. I think people see the price and get turned off not realizing it includes a soup/salad. Their soups and salads are all pretty good too.

Lunch / Take-out near Eaton Centre...anything worth having?

Ya Milos, I keep forgetting the name! This place is so great, I love when the owners take pride and care in their food, it really shows.

Lunch / Take-out near Eaton Centre...anything worth having?

I like the new roast beef place in the Eaton Centre food court...Rare I think it's called

The food court inside the AMC building at Dundas Square has a excellent lebonese place with great Falaffals

The Cupcake Diner - Cupcake truck in Hamilton

I had them yesterday as they were downtown and someone bought some for me. They were just ok...nothing I would crave.

CH Best of the GTA for 2012 - Results

Thanks for doing the hard work in compiling and presenting the results! Need to get myself out to Khao San Road already!

Toronto with young children ???

Definately not amazing food, but Mövenpick Marché at Brookfield place is a market type restaurant and my kids love going there since there is alot going on, they enjoy looking at all the food and picking what they like. Definately kid friendly too...plus since it's such a large space, the kid produced noise gets lost :)

I need suggestions please for a nice romantic restaurant.

You'll love it, and definately cozy!

How about Niagara Street Cafe? It's a nice cozy and romantic spot. Food is always solid and well within your budget,

Romantic restaurant in North York

Slightly out of your price range maybe, but Auberge is a classic standby. Fantastic food, romantic space (Yonge and York Mills)

Can we revisit the PATH?

Opposite staples in the Path entrance that goes into the food court (that leads into the subway)

Cheesewerks - Grilled Cheese at Bathurst and Wellington

Had their sandwiches at the distillery as well, it was slightly pricey, but absolutely delicious. Glad to hear they have a store!

Can we revisit the PATH?

New find, not sure if others know about it yet. It's called Touch (of the world) It's right across the Staples near the King subway (I keep forgetting what that food court is called - but it's not in the food court) Really good Indian food in there, pretty authentic...FRESH Nan made to order! Easily the best Indian on the path. Quite happy that a co-worker brought me here.

How busy does the Senator get on a weekday lunch?

Some coworkers want to go for some diner food and I suggested Senator, but I was worried about how busy it gets for lunch on a weekday. As we have to walk pretty far to get there, we don't have that much time so I don't want to be waiting for a long time. Anyone have any idea? Thanks.

where to buy clodhoppers in GTA?

Positive that WalMart carries them too as I have bought them from the local Walmart a few times
