Looking for cookies/baked goods that are amazing

really open to cost. It's something my manager ask me to take care of so want to get it right! It can be an assortment of pastries. Just something to wow everyone.

Kathryn, what would this site be without you! You're great and thanks for always educating on the 'good' stuff!

Union Square restaurant ideal for weekday business breakfast/early lunch

couldn't agree more! it's a waste of a great corner and we could use more great food spots around this hood!

Looking for cookies/baked goods that are amazing

Hi,
I was delegated to pick up the dessert for our office meeting. 50 people. I usually go to City Bakery as my 'go to' place but was thinking of trying something different.
Where can I get amazing desserts? cookies/pastries and similar.

Doughnut plant?
Levain Bakery?
Dean and Deluca?

Any rec's would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

recommendations for seafood restaurants...mid-range, not fine dining

Most restaurants offer a great fish dish so really not going to be difficult to fulfill the request. More about the atmosphere and location that seems important. A few places that come to mind and some are already recommended:
Best choices IMO are Mermaid Inn. Buddakan. Also, Osteria Morini, the octopus dish at Del Anima is amazing, Tertulia for tapas...There's so many. Enjoy
