Duck Prosciutto - Need Breast!

Did you try Dave's? I usually buy mine there. I'm pretty sure they are D'Artagnan.

Overwhelmed with Too Much Research!

I have no more info than this posting on Facebook from Paris Kitchen:

"Top Chef contestant (but already long time Chef Julien Deboue of Afaria) is closing his fantastic wine bar Dans Les Landes today - opening a new wine bar restaurant in the 2nd arr in September. The best news? The smoked duck breast fried polenta sticks are making the move!"

Maybe that's what their listing on The Fork is down? It has been for a couple of weeks. Anyway, just thought it was worth a heads up.

Goose in Rhode Island

Thanks to everyone who replied. I ended up buying one (frozen) at WF, mostly because I was away for the weekend and it came down to logistics.

Merry Christmas!

Thank you all for your replies. I will let you know what I find. @N2012: the Pawtucket market? And do you know if they are fresh or frozen? Thanks!

Goose in Rhode Island

Thank you very much for your thorough reply. I may end up preordering at WF, just because it's much closer. Definitely looking forward to having a stash of goose fat!

Does anyone know palace that carries goose in Rhode Island? I'm thinking about shaking things up for Christmas dinner this year.

Tickets website

Has anyone seen the new website? In addition to Tickets, 41 Degrees and Pakta, there are teasers for Bodega 1900 (opening in July), Yauarcan (Mexican, scheduled for October 2013) and Enigma (??? 2014)

3 Moms turned loose in Providence, RI- dinner, etc?

One more vote for Gracie's! I actually prefer the prix fixe, as you can choose within each course and it is a great value.

The Dorrance may be too pricey for dinner (plates can be small) but it might also be fun for drinks. I couldn't find any listing for events, but there tends to be something going on.

Providence - lunch w/ teen and senior

The last time we went to Cuban Revolution for lunch, it was one of the worst meals I have ever had. Would cross that one off your list. Nick's, otoh, was quite good. I think Mediterraneo still has a prix fixe lunch and it will please a wide range of ages.

Help please! (menu translation) [moved from France]

Maybe keep "macaron" as it is....just so they aren't confused with the coconut ones?

Madrid/BCN/San Sebastian

I may be reading this incorrectly, but I think the OP is looking for 2-3 tapas places for one meal.....so that would be $30-45 per person, but spread over several places.

STUFFING MUFFINS - anyone tried something like this?

Another vote for stuffin' muffins.......If I tried to have Thanksgiving dinner without them, there would be a mutiny! I do add some extra chicken broth, once they have been pressed into the tins, as they can get dry if you get distracted and leave them ini too long. Will try a little butter on top this year as well.
