Restaurants at Mohegan Sun leave a lot to be desired
In your previous post you made it seem that the casino was running all of the restaurants and the chef's are just attaching their names to them. This is not true in most cases at MS. IIRC, the only restaurant where a chef has "attached" their name is Tuscany. All of the others are run by private companies either run by the namesake chef or at least in partnership with them.

With the exception of the buffets, Tuscany and a few other restaurants in the old casino all of the restaurants are privately owned and operated.

Go to www.butcherpacker.com I just got a pound of Cure #1 for bacon and pancetta as well as a pound of cure #2 which also contains Nitrates for dry-cured sausages. With shipping the total came to $12.50 and I have enough to do 400 pounds of meat.

Super H is an Asian supermarket chain from the east coast. There is a location in Niles. Sometime this month another location is opening in Naperville at the corner of Ogden and Naperville Rd.
Johnnie's Beef review -- good beef but underwhelmed
Well, I won't disagree with your try one - try both mentality, but I'd forget about Carm's and walk a few blocks west of Al's to the Patio. The Patio's beef is the only one that comes close to my Johnnies cravings. (I am also a very vocal Al's detractor, which you can see if you visit the Beefathon threads)
Sunday Night Wait Time For Pizza?
If there is a wait for a table they generally will offer the ability to pre-order your pie before you sit down. This signifigantly reduces your wait time.
Bridal shower in the western burbs?
After contemplating a number of locations my mother decided on holding the shower for my fiance at Seven Bridges' clubhouse. They have multiple rooms that can accomodate a crowd of almost any size, and the prices are excellent. All of the rooms overlook the golf course.
Fish Tacos? Aurora/Naperville
Thanks for the mention Mugs. Fish tacos are not something very common in the area. You could try El Tesoro in West Chicago on Roosevelt, they specialize in Mariscos, but I don't remember fish tacos on the menu.
The best fish tacos I've found in the area are at Chick's n Salsa near the intersection of Roosevelt and Rt 53 in Glen Ellyn. Although it isn't a quick drive from Rt 59 and I-88 I find that their chicken and fish tacos make the trip worth it.

Where to find Nathan's Natural Casing Dogs...
The only place I've found Nathan's natural casing hot dogs is at Woodman's. All of the Nathan's products at Jewel or Dominick's are skinless.

For Mexican you can't go wrong with Amanacer Tapatio. I'd order off the specials menu rather than just going with tacos or burritos.
