Grown Up Bar in Providence RI
I'm looking for a few good "grown up" bars in Providence RI for a good, cold, martini. Looking for something not too loud, not packed w college students, where chances of getting a seat are good. Slightly posh is nice. Restaurant/hotel bars fine. Thanks.
Anyone tried Kingston Station yet?
I've had lunch there a few times, and the food and service have been good. They're definitely trying on the service side of things, which I completely appreciate. They do a yummy honey butter with quite respectable crusty rolls, which was a nice surprise. Prices are not bad for this area. It's a touch on the loud side, but not as loud as when it was Peking Tom's.

The Jae's bi bim bop itself is not bad, however, they have stopped serving any sort of panchan with it, which is half the fun.
Wu Chon house has good korean food in general.
Wine Tastings
Anyone know of more good wine (ie with some instruction, not just a flight at the bar) tasting nights at restaurants around town? Les Zygomates does them on Tuesdays, but there must be others.

I am happy Franklin didn't move. Prefer the cozy Franklin atmosphere to the loud bustling Gaslight.
