Is there good bread to be had in the West LA area?

Definitely have to try Almandine for fabulous croissants and danishes and cakes. I havent tried their bread sorry. But they have awesome latte and rich authentic cakes. http://www.amandinecafe.com/

LA coffee scene: are we at the start of a revolution?

Sorry if this was a little too late, but I just moved to SM a couple of months ago. Not as new but the coffee scene here is epic and i love it. Not so sure about the ratings for the app. Though I tried various places on the list, my favourite is still Balconi coffee company. Any takers?

Tarte Tatin. Something a little warm but can be topped with a cold creamy ice cream. Banana tarte tatin anyone?
