Best bbq side dishes in Tampa Bay The mac n' cheese at First Choice is good, and, as the guy says when you order it, 'its spicy'. |
|

I was there last summer for breakfast in shorts and a Tommy Bahama type shirt. Did not feel out of place at all. In fact we sat outside so what I was wearing was perfect. |

Top Chef and we're off! (possible spoilers) I would guess that even a chile relleno from Chi Chi's would be better than that thing. You are cooking for Tom C. and Wolfgang at CUT (one of the finest steakhouses I have ever been to by the way) and you cook SEITAN!. Seitan, are you kidding me. |

What is the best seafood restaurant in Tampa Bay area? I'll agree with that one. Mystic Fish is great. |

I went to Cut last month for my B-Day. It was outstanding. |

Which Brewpubs Have Good Food? I'll agree with Kevin on TBBC in Ybor (Tampa). |

Sierra Nevada Torpedo Sightings Found some at SuperTarget is Odessa (Just north of Tampa, FL) yesterday. First I have seen around here. |

Corkage Disappointment in Vegas I had dinner at CUT 2 nights ago for my 40th birthday. The food was outstanding as was the service. |

Take a cab there in the evening before meal when it is still hot. Walk back - not as hot after the sun goes down and you'll be able to walk off your meal. |

Clearwater Bagels 1 block west of Clearwater High School on Gulf to Bary |

I agree with First Choice |

BTW, there is also a fantasy game on Bravo's site. Different scoring rules. |

OK, so I guess I should have read the bios before I picked my team. Stefan gets me 10 points and the culinary school kid lost me 7. Would not have picked Patrick had I read the bio and known he was still in culinary school. |

Padma and Giada in a cat fight. That would be worth tuning in. My money also on Padma, |

I believe it was already mentioned that Bobby was alot more helpful with Aaron than Guy was with the other 2. May have just been the editing, but Bobby actually went thru the Promo for Aaron (he said the lines and walked thru it) whereas Guy just handed the other 2 the card with the lines and told them what to do. Quite an advantage for Aaron to be able to watch Bobby run thru it vs. the other 2 just being told what to do. Seems to further back up the theory that FN 'wants' Aaron to win. Chris |

Where are the bagels in Tampa Bay! Another CHS graduate here (class of '87). The mention of clearwater bagels brings back many great memories... |

Dinner for 21 mostly teenagers, Friday 3/22 My wife, myself, one of her teacher friends and about 18 high school kids will be in NYC next weekend. Friday night we are going to the Knicks game at MSG. Staying in the Times Sq area. Any ideas on teen-friendly restaurants that can handle this big of a group on Good Friday. (I really dont' want to get stuck going to Hard Rock). The kids will proabably want to stay under about a $30 pp budget (of course they won't be drinking) Thanks |

Also at Bellagio and very good is Michael Mina. His signiture dish, lobster pot pie, is awesome. |

I would recommend Sensi. They don't have their menu online. I believe you said that you were staying at Bellagio. Just call the concierge and they will fax you a menu. The short ribs are TO DIE FOR. |

Chefmate Dutch Oven for Target?? I can attest. This works. Did it today. Just like LilBigEater says - some CD comes up, click the link above and put in your zip code. Found them all over Tampa Bay area and bought one on my way home. On sale for $35.99 even. |

Restaurants in Venetian - what's recommended? My wife and I have eaten at Postrio a couple of times. Very good both times. We ate 'outside' on St. Marks Square. We ate at David Burke last labor day weekend. I would not recommend this place at all. Service was terrible (never saw waiter from the time he took or order until he brought the bill), my wife's steak was overcooked and underseasoned, and my sea bass had no flavor. |

heading to vegas for 5 days - what restaurants are not to be missed? I may be a little late to put in my .02, but I will 'third' the recommendation for Sensi. My wife and I ate there this past labor day weekend at it was the highlight meal of the trip. We also ate at David Burke the same weekend and we were very dissappointed with the food and the service. Sensi is definately one of the best meals we have had in Vegas. |

My wife and I went to Michael Mina last year and it was excellent. We did not do the tasting menu. My wife had the Lobster Pot Pie which she loved and I had the Kobe Short Rib trio which was outstanding. |

I agree, my wife and I ate here 9/1. Service was terrible (never saw waiter from time he took our order until he brought the check). My wife's steak was overcooked and underseasoned. My sea bass had no flavor at all. Very disappointing. |
