Banh Mi Boys

Went to grab a lunch there with a friend and had the kalbi taco, pork belly banh mi and the grilled pork banh mi. Though not traditional, they were awesome! Taco had a chinese onion pancake type shell and the banh mi's were crunchy, chewy, tasty and spicy wrapped into one. So worth going! ALSO, they have fob drinks like soy milk. So happy there (:

I just ate at Marben tonight and when I was leaving I saw a "PIG NIGHT (or feast I don't remember) OCT 30". I didn't bother going back in to ask but now I'm curious. Anyone know what Pig night entails?

kaji vs hashimoto

Actually when I went to kaji recently, I was surprisingly full after the tasting menu. Btw there are smaller tasting courses for 100 and 80 which are both somewhat substantial if you don't have a huge appetite.

I've already been to kaji which was by far the best japanese food i've ever had and I've heard really good things about Hashimoto. Are they comparable or is one of them better? I really should just go eat there :)

how north is north york cause if it encompasses scarborough id say maple yip but it isnt dim sum its more dishes but if you're looking for dim sum go to finch and leslie or yang's in markham.
