Not to pile on, but anything Paganini in Dtown is consistently awful. I have absolutely no idea how they stay in business. They obviously don't ever read about themselves here. |

We were only in town because a friend was participating in a short "!st Fri. event." We have been to all of the other restaurants you named and they are all far superior. We didn't expect much from Paganini in the first place, and got even less. Bummer. |

Having been to this restaurant before (and not loving it) we made the unfortunate mistake of going there again last night because the wait at 86 West was too long. This is without a doubt, the worst restaurant in Doylestown and we have been to almost all of them. The service was awful, not greeted at our table for at least ten minutes, multiple requests for water and bread were ignored mistakes on orders, etc. And then there's the food/menu. Most of the dishes here are pasta with little or no protein component. Last night we were told that we could add a meatball to our pasta and so I did. Then the dish came out without it and I was told the chef didn't feel it went with that dish. I replied that the chef was an idiot. And the dish sucked, to boot. After a painstaking hour and a half we declined coffee and dessert, paid the $200 tab (for four) and headed over to 86 West for a nightcap to blot out the memory of the terrible meal we had just endured. We will NEVER set foot in this poor excuse for an Italian restaurant again and suggest you do the same. I guess the place survives on tourists who go there unknowingly. I'm sure regular D'town diners know better. |

Humiliating experience at Dettera It doesn't seem to me that the issue here is food or atmosphere at this restaurant. What's at issue is the arrogant stance of management pertaining to these patrons. Clearly, most of the posters here agree. |

Humiliating experience at Dettera We have been to Dettera a few times since opening and have always felt that something about management just doesn't value the customer's satisfaction. There is always something standoffish about the place and we have permanently crossed it off our list. We dine out at least 3 times a week and are local and would happily include it, were it not for the fact that there are a number of other places that are a better value and always make their customers feel welcome and appreciated. Clearly, the owners of Dettera just don't get it. |

Ambler-- going into the old beer distributor building (239 E. Butler Pike) It's my understanding from a reliable source, that it will once again be a beer distributor. No drive thru this time around though. Cheers ! |

We always see lots of families with kids at Fireside, good food, reasonable. Lots of choices for everyone. |

Miraku on Bethlehem Pike in Springhouse Closed? Although not big Sushi folks ourselves, we have several friends who are, who all say they love Blue Fin on Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting. Might be worth a try to see if you agree. |

Late Sunday brunch at Lacroix? Had brunch there recently and saw several parties arrive at 1:30 or later. From what we observed |

Had brunch there a few weeks back, although I did see jeans, they were few. Khaki pants and a nice shirt was the order of the day. At night, I might add a jacket. |

Ambrose, No offense meant by the Stockton reference........ just a little easier to identify the general area. |

Just got word that after 22 years, the Cafe at Rosemont in Stockton, NJ has closed. Such a shame, will fondly remember many cozy evenings there with friends. A little gem of a place. R.I.P. |

Best Sunday Brunch Buffet in Philadelphia?? Had brunch at LaCroix Sun. a week ago. Still talking about it ! The best brunch experience we've ever had. |

Baguette that actually tastes authentic If you're ever up around New Hope, C'est La Vie is a sure bet.... Run by an actual French fellow. |

We go to Bobby's often, but have never been to a private event there. Bob is present at the restaurant often, but he may have a specific person who handles private events, just inquire. If they can accommodate you size-wise, I feel confident you will be pleased with the results. Good food, nice people. |

BEST fast food experience I ever had. I give it five out of five waffle fries. Chick-Fil-A is in a fast food class all by itself. I go frequently and every time come away amazed at how well they do it. As a private company, without stockholders, they are able to do things as they think they should be done. Competitors should pay heed....... None of them even come close. Kudos C-F-A ! |

We've been to the one in Doylestown a few times, it's OK, but really more "flatbread" than pizza. If you want actual pizza, there are many better options. Try it and see what you think. |

Certainly agree that Paganini is awful and FreightHouse is overpriced and mediocre. Chambers could handle 50 (talk to Matt) , I guess Bobby Simone's can handle 50 with the new upstairs and is consistently good. One other thought might be Il Melagrano on the north end of town, very nice. |

Vegan friendly in Ambler/Blue Bell? Take a look at the website for Everest Grill in Broad Axe. I think you'll see some nice options for you there. |
