Okay, have to ask. What is the worst? The Sandwich King? |

Why is it a (non)word? It is in the dictionary, so it is a legitimate word. I used to hate "melty" and wondered when that became a word. Well, I looked it up and it became official in 2007. |

it's so trendy to bash foodies |

Does Race Matter in the Kitchen? "Authentic", as described by some people, would dictate that race matters. But to me, just give me good food. I don't care who is cooking it. Who wouldn't want Rick Bayless to cook them a fine Mexican dinner |

What do you prefer to eat with your hands out of the bag or box ... Fiddle Faddle |
|

What's your favorite cooking show/s and why? Rachel Khoo |

Foods Together: My Way or the Highway Since I use crackers as my spoon to eat chili, I would have had you run out and get me crackers. I do love me some cornbread on the side though. |

Favorite cheese with eggs - omelets/scrambled? Smoked Gouda. |

When do ethics come to play in your dining decision? I stand by my statement. It's all about the food for me. |

How do you take your hard boiled eggs (when you eat them as-is)? Soaked in a nice vinegar and beet juice mix for a week. |
|
|
Any foods you now like that you once hated? Rice |

Pretending to cook: "Dinner Kits" What a great thing for people that can't cook. |

Is Christopher Kimball the new Alton Brown??????? So now do you dislike Alton Brown? |

When judging the quality of a diner, how important is the coffee? Not at all, but I judge a diner by its chocolate milk. Don't give me white milk with Quik stirred in---yuck! I read Reacher and couldn't hang with him. |

It is. |

Do you own a fondue pot? And what's in it? I love the Melting Pot! It is a fun way to share food with others. Taught my niece to like scallops at the Melting Pot. The only scallops she had ever eaten were over cooked ones her father made. I cooked one in the fondue pot for about 15 seconds and gave it to her to eat. After eating, her eyes lit up and she said, "that's what they are supposed to be like, not all rubbery?". |

Yelp Says The Owner's Racist... I agree. If it tastes good, eat it! |

Before snowstorm, I must have ________ In 1993 and again in 1996 there were storms that closed all the roads in Northeastern PA. Grocery stores were closed for 2 or 3 days. The "blue hairs" were not able to get out for up to a week. Bet you they were glad they stocked up. Now, maybe the early to mid nineties are not considered the modern era, because there was no Twitter or Facebook, but I have very vivid memories of those two storms. And I am glad I had enough Mt. Dew on hand to see me through. |

Sonic drive-in, middletown. I have never been to a sonic, any good? When we didn't have Sonic near us and I was on vacation, I always stopped for a cherry/limeade. Now that we have 2 Sonics nearby, I almost never go. |

Guilty pleasures you introduce your kids/friends too Peanut butter and bacon on white toast to my nieces and nephew. They thought it sounded gross until they tasted it. |

I left the potato soup out last night, is it still safe to eat? Am I the only person to leave cream cheese out over night to bring to room temperature? I do it all the time and eat it with no problems. I would eat the soup. |

5 Nights in Vegas... so many options! I try to head right from the airport to Lotus of Siam, but that's just me. |

Agree on Mrs. Wilkes for a filling lunch. I also stop in at Elizabeth on 37th when visiting. But it has been 1 1/2 years since there. I would not recommend the TV personality place. |

Breakfast Cereal from Your Childhood My father ate PEP everyday of the week. We kids had to eat it when there was nothing else in the cupboard. Talk about a boring cereal. My father switched to Frosted Flakes when we could no longer find PEP. |

As a teen, drank a 1/2 gallon orange or rootbeer every day at lunch. 20s &30s - 2 to 4 liters of Mt Dew, Jolt or RC per day. 40s - strictly Mt Dew, 4-6 liters per day. Starting off my 50s backed down to 2 to 3 liters of Dew per day plus any brand of soda I could find that I never tried before. Blood orange is awesome! Started dialysis 2 weeks ago, so I am limited to 32oz of liquid per day. At least 16 of those ounces are soda of some sort. Do not like the "sugar" sodas as much as HFCS and diet sodas are gross. So yes, I guess I do drink soda! |

I have an itch to make clam chowder. What would go with it? Big ole lobster roll (or 2) |

Sigh................ Cooking Channel and Baron Ambrosia 2 minutes? Wow, that's about 4 times longer than I could watch! |

In N Out Burger question for a newbie Since you've only been there once, did you order the fries extra crispy? If you ordered regular fries, I can see why you say don't order them. Fries have to be "well done". |
