Hmm, I love both. Either way, I'm looking for great food with plenty of flavor and plenty on the plate :)

Hey guys, I'm new to the DFW and I always consult Chowhound for recommendations and then confirm on Yelp, but this approach isn't panning out in Dallas. It's odd, there no consistency in people's opinions in this town. Even the places with 4 stars have plenty of 1 and 2 star ratings. The most perplexing thing is a couple of the places people seem to love on this board, Nona and Momo's, have 3 1/2 star ratings.

The only real consensus is around Lucia's and I'd love to go there, but it's a little out of our price range for this weekend.

Can anyone help settle this discussion and give me the top 5 spots for Italian that never disappoint?
