Kids birthday cake at affordable price

Yes, I did. I found a lady who made cakes at home. If you google for that, you will find plenty. This one was based in santa clara and her name is Mehr, I wanted to get a wheels on the bus themed cake. There are plenty of women who do make cakes at home and would recommend to try them out before ordering.

First birthday - winter time recommendation?

We got starters from Costco frozen, heated and took them. I made some themed snacks. Pizzas I got from Tasty subs and pizzas from Sunnyvale. There is also pizza pub in Sunnyvale. You should check out both and see which one you like. I did that. There is two more in Fremont which are also good. Check out on yelp. I forgot the names.

First birthday - winter time recommendation?

Hi Soniar..I was trying to reply to your query on my post regarding gymboree. You can check out my review on yelp for gymboree sunnyvale. We had a great party. I would highly recommend it. Though not sure if your kid would enjoy himself(how mobile he is). Mine was two so he had plenty to play around. All the other kids ranging from 1 to 5 yr olds had a blast! Its a good enough time(2 hrs). We had taken starters(veg and non veg), juices etc. Ordered desi pizzas for adults and cheese for kids. They organise well, start the playttime, free play, then announce food time, then lastly cake cutting. They are very good with kids and also good attitude. Also give goody bags. I also got some theme specific favors in addition to that.

Party planning tips for Gymboree party

Hi! My son is turning two and I've kept his party at gymboree here in the bay area, CA. Am planning on getting Indian style pizzas, chicken wings, kiddie pizzas, cupcakes, cake and juices. Mine is a two hr party. Am wondering when is the best time to get the pizzas delivered if party is between say 7pm to 9 pm. 7.30? Am planning to have 45 mts playtime and then eat and free play. There are elders too like uncles aunts grandparents, so I've requested chairs etc. Could u pls advise me on any tips for having this party?

Kids birthday cake at affordable price

hi everyone

I am having a birthday party for my toddler, and I need some good recommendations to order the cake. I have ordered from passage to India last year, it was I think a half sheet of cake to server around 50 people, and it cost around 130 bucks. This time I want to order something more economical and yet tasty. If any of you know somebody who does it out of passion or is into small baking business who could do this at a lesser rate, please pass on details. Also if you know any bakery pls let me know.I live in north San Jose so anything around this area, like milpitas, or even Sunnyvale where the party will be, pls let me know. Thanks in advance!!

Party food count

Hi, I finally did it. We had a great time. I ordered for 54 people, 7 items i.e. gobi manchurian(appetiser), malai kofta, mutter paneer, veg pulav, kadhai chicken, chapathis, raita. For dessert, we had cake. We also had watermelon(freshly cut) which was a hit with everyone. Plus small fruit drinks for kids, cheetos and lays chips. Food was perfect, nothing was wasted. watermelon, cheetos cake all got over. Only lays few packets were over. We still had very little gravy items remaining which we discarded. So I believe if you have munchies etc, one shouldnt order too much per person food. Definately not more than the adult count, this am saying on basis of seeing other parties.

Party food count

hi

I am catering Indian food for my kids birthday. I have generally seen food getting wasted hence don't want to over order. There are 58 people coming plus 20 odd kids less than 4 yr olds
We are thinking of ordering for 50 people.
Please let me know if you think this is enough or how much I should order?

Looking for Indian food caterers for kids first birthday party

Thanks for the recommendations ceekshat!! I agree about shalimar but for a party the food is too oily I feel. We do find it tasty for occasional tandoori chicken etc :) I havent heard of Taste buds, how is it? Do you recommend any specific food there? Please let me know. I will check with them. Their prices look similar to Spice hut.
