Daikokuya - how long is the wait during lunch hours

Also, suggestions on weekdays parking will be great! I usually go there during some japanese-related events happening in the weekends so I have no idea on the best parking during weekdays.

Are off-street parking (probably with meters) available close by? Is there any parking with validation around?

Thanks :)

I've been passing Daikokuya in little Tokyo on weekends & the lines are so long! Do you know how long the wait time is for lunch hours on regular weekdays? Are the lines long as well? all the time or just at the peak lunch hour (noon - 1 pm)?

If I could only choose 1 of Dorie Greenspan's book, which one is it?

Ah! I was also thinking of buying one of Nick's book. I've never seen "A Baker's Tour" but I'll need to check it out. I was thinking of getting "Bake" or "Perfect Light Dessert" next time.

By the way, I like books with lots of pictures, because that's kind of how I decide I'll try to make them, if you understand what I mean.

My budget allows me to buy only 1 of Dorie Greenspan's baking book. Which one would you buy if you need to choose only 1 of them? Not "Around my French Table", as I want something more focused to baking.

Other book recommendations (not only Dorie's) are also welcome for my future consideration.

Thanks :)
