I highly recommend the Solage in Calistoga. Especially for breakfast/brunch. Their lemon ricotta pancakes are to die for. It's upscale but I never experienced any snotty or rude behavior from anyone there. Barolo is good too. For Mexican casual far Pacifico is a nice place to go. Another local favorite is Buster's BBQ. Very casual awesome BBQ place. Hope this helps. Have fun!
